It smells good, it is gentle and cleans my better clothing perfectly.

The only thing I would love to see is this made in pods!!! This is my favorite detergent and it has the best smell!!! Great for my hubby and kiddies with sensitive skin. Please make pods!

This is the best product! It smells like a dream, is light, and washes beautifully! I give it a 10/10. I just moved into a home with an HE washer. Washer says I need to use HE specific laundry detergent. I hope that Tide will make this in an HE compatible version because I love it!! I’ve used the regular HE Tide and Tide Downy HE and it doesn’t even compare to my very favorite Pure Lavender and Honey Tide! Please keep up the great work and bring it to HE users!!

The original scent of this Tide purclean was AWESOME. I would still be using this today without question if the scent did not change as mentioned in other reviews. I was extremely disappointed when I discovered this drastic (not subtle) and obvious change which has now made this product putrid. I cannot comprehend why a solid company would take a fantastic product and make it this way. I do not understand this. If the original scent could be brought back, I am sure the reviews would improve greatly, and I know I would purchase this again. I am surprised this is still sold in stores the smell is so bad. If the company cannot bring back the original scent for whatever reason, why not bring a new product to market with the original scent but a new name? BBW appears to do this all the time, and certainly their business seems to be flourishing. PLEASE consider.

I’ve never broken out in a rash from laundry detergent before. This is the only change I’ve made. Will be returning today. Sad bc it made my clothes smell so good and I loved the way it cleaned!

I love that this is a more natural product due to certain allergies. I will say that it makes lots of suds and cleans very well. However, I too as others have mentioned loved the original lavender scent. Not a big fan of the “ improved” scent. I would prefer the original lavender. Because it actually smelled like lavender and it was mild and pleasing. I am a long time Tide user.

I used to love this detergent. The smell was divine, it cleaned wonderfully, and I used it exclusively. Then the scent changed - they say they “improved” it, but that couldn’t be more inaccurate. It is called “honey lavender”, but the new scent smells like honey dew melon, no hint of lavender. I have purchased this a couple of times since the scent changed, hoping either they would change it back or it would grow on me, but neither happened. I won’t buy it anymore.

Having tried all the other available market detergents, this PUR product is unequivocally SUPERIOR to all the others. I will not buy any other. SO worth it! Clothes come out cleaner, smell great, don't need that much, value IS THERE. Thank you finally!!!

Contact dermatitis. I was hoping to go the plant-based route for washing my clothes. I did one load of laundry with Tide’s purclean. I ended up with contact dermatologist. I had itchy red rashes where I had worn the clothes from that load (Socks, shorts, shirt, and undergarments). I’ll be going back to Tide original.

I used to use this exclusively. When the scent changed, I could not use it anymore. It it really gross. Now I have switched to a locally made natural laundry detergent. I see from the comments that it has not changed back, so I won't be buying again. It sounds like you might be able to make a LOT of customers happy if you could bring back the old scent instead of the nasty rotten melon scent that smells worse than pretty much any other detergent on the market. I was willing to pay a bit more before bc it smelled so fresh and clean.

I used to absolutely love this detergent and used it for all of my baby clothes. The scent was amazing. I recently bought more and the scent has completely changed. Now it smells like rotten melon. I recently had another baby and was getting out some clothes I had packed up from before and they STILL smell amazing. There is no comparison. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD SCENT!

My daughter tried this as it was supposed to be allergy friendly and both of us have used the fragrance-free varieties in the past. So she smelled this at the store and thought it would be fine. Nope. It was so bad that I made her rewash her clothes as I could not even stand to be in the same room with her-my nose closed up and my throat swelled up-fortunately I had a spare eppi-pen. NOT allergy friendly.

I've been using Tire Purclean for a couple of years. Price is high and many other lower priced products work just as well, but I have been willing to pay the high price because of the wonderful scent it left on the laundry. I've highly recommended it to other people for that very reason. Overnight guests would comment how nice the sheets smelled. So, of course someone decided it needed changing and now it smells yuk. Thought maybe it was just a fluke the first time, but now I see that it's a "new" thing. I will not spend the money for something that isn't outstanding from other similar products in some way. That heavenly scent was Tide's outstanding feature. So disappointing.

The old scent was perfect. People who choose a more natural detergent do NOT want overpowering, artificial scent. The market is already overflowing with gross fragrance - please bring back the original lighter scent!!!

just recently switched to this from seventh generation. I feel like it cleans my clothes better and I love the smell. my husband who has sensitive skin, works in the trades. he wears work boots all day and gets very dirty. I didn't feel the seventy generation worked on his clothes as good as this stuff does.

I have been using Tide purclean since it came to the shelves. I really do enjoy using it especially since it is plant based without additives. I just wish that you hadn't changed the packaging. With using the original container, you could rinse it out and then recycle. Now you can only recycle the box, there is no way to clean the plastic inside container. Please bring back the old container! It would also be nice if you offered other sense other than lavender.

I have used Tide Free and Clear HE for years and recently tried this product for the first time. I was intrigued by the plant-based claim. For a large load of towels, I followed the dose guidelines and filled the cup only to the 1st line. I had to run 2 additional wash cycles (no additional detergent) with extra rinses to get the suds rinsed out of the load. It took a total of 3 hours and 6 rinse cycles to get rid of the suds. Not very eco-friendly, a waste of money, water, and now I have detergent I don't know how best to throw away. Overall very disappointing. I see comments elsewhere that this product suds more than your other products, but how little are you supposed to use?

I love this because it’s fragrance free. Fragrances are harmful to your home and for your family so buying free and clear products is important to me. I love that Tide has this detergent as an option because they are popular and carried in every store making it easily accessible. It cleans clothes perfectly and is scent free but leaves everything smelling clean and new! No dyes or dangerous chemicals. It makes me feel really good about my family’s health.

I LOVED the original scent of Tide Honey Lavender ... especially for sheets. The new smell is horrible -- like rotten melon. I've submitted my request to bring back the original scent. Now, I can't find it at all!

I've used this product to wash my two girls' clothes while they were babies and when my third baby comes, I'll be using this to wash his clothes in it as well. The scent is nice but not too strong and it doesn't seem to irritate their skin. It cleans remarkably well, like most Tide products. It can be pricey but it's well worth it.

Been using this now on my second bottle, probably the last time I use it, very sudsy for HE washing when the label says for BOTH machines. Not Tide's usual standard, I bought this because it has no optical brighteners for colored and dark clothes, spending more time rinsing and doing laundry than necessary. Not impressed.

Used very little soap and when the load was done and I opened the mashing machine door the suds came out and went all over the floor. It took three rinses to rinse the load.

This product contains "Benzisothiazolinone" which is a relative of Meisothiazolinone. Would not use if you are allergic to this chemical.

Love this detergent. I've also encountered the issues of excessive suds so I've learned to use less per washing. I consider this a good thing! Using less saves me money and is better for my septic.

I need a detergent without whiteners & dyes for workout clothes, and this does the trick. I don't need an expensive specialized detergent anymore.

We have had to run multiple loads through double wash cycles (the second without any new soap) because there were still soap suds after the first load was finished.

My BUT is the suds. It is definitely not an HE product if you have soft water. I use very little, but it still clogs my lovely HE washer.

Just terrible My bubble bath doesn’t even sud this much! We are a household of 6- I don’t have time to always opt for an extra rinse. .

Confused by all the "suds" reviews. Read the bottle. It's HE and a little goes a long way. This stuff works great and I love that tide could possibly be moving all things to biodegradable cleaning.

I was looking for something to wash baby clothes in and this was on on sale and I had a coupon so I decided to try it. It is very comparable to dreft.

I have tried alot of detergents and tide is the best and i let my friends know it is the best product of detergents and this is the one i need.

Washed my clothes in this twice and my son's socks still were dirty & smelly. Had to use a different Tide to get the smell and dirt out of the clothes. Left with 2 useless bottles of this stuff!

Overall, great product. However, be wary with SMALL loads! Use very little! I washed 2 small loads, and got LOTS of suds in my machine. I had to wash them a 2nd time to get rid of the suds/residue!

Wow! I have never seen so many suds. This detergent clogged my LG front load machine. A warning bell went off and the machine was so full of suds I had to scoop it out. Still can't get it to work.

I used this product in my front loading HE machine, filled to line, and had suds everywhere! My two year old washer is now clogged and won't rinse! I'm hoping it's not ruined! Do not buy!

Mmm smells so nice, just washed these today and the smell is light and pleasant. My sheets feel soft and clean and the bonus, no chemicals to irritate my skin. When I opened the pack it was as advertised, smells great with no chemicals after smell and has no color. Loving the eco friendliness as we do need to take better care of the earth. I thank Tide for the opportunity to try out the Honey lavender Pure Clean detergent.This detergent is the first certified bio-based detergent that is Produced in a facility that uses 100% renewable wind power and generates no landfill waste. It's also USDA certified bio-based detergent. That is not all, it's a 100% recyclable bottle and does not cotain any dyes, chlorine, phosphates, ethanolamine or optical brighteners. All this sounds already awesome to me and many other people out there probably think so too. I received this detergent for free from Tide through BzzAgent to try it out and give my honest reviews about it. I made several loads with this detergent. Days went buy after washing my clothes with it and they still have the awesome scent of the detergent. I loved it but if people are sensitive to scents this would not be good. My clothes smelled fresh and clean. I cannot say if it helps against stains since I live in a apartment and other people use the machine. My clothes get stains from the washing machine. It did clean how it's supposed to but did not try it on taugh stains. I would rate 8 out of 10 since I dont know how it performs on taugh stains. I like that the company tries to be more green and help the environment. If you care about saving this planet I would say it would not hurt to switch to this bottle of detergent if you buy already detergent from this brand. They should switch all the bottles of detergent to this. If they leave just for this bottle then it's just for marketing and try to make you buy because this is new different. Overall it's a nice detergent but the smell might be not good for people who are sensitive to scents that are in other detergents. It does good for the planet. It is worth switching to this detergent bottle. Remember you support the companies what they do by you buying their products. The detergent scent last for days after when you wash with it which other detergent don't do that.

I love clean sheets. Not much comes close to that feeling of comfort and cleanliness, so the proper laundry detergent is very important to me. Overall I think this stuff is pretty great, the smell is wonderful and the fact that it's created in an energy-conscious facility and contains no dyes is awesome. Overall I don't think it cleaned any better than my other detergent and Tide has a reputation for being one of the higher-priced cleaning options. That being said, this new Tide product will definitely be gracing my laundry cupboard and my sheets after my next shopping trip to help reduce my carbon footprint. Plus, it's puppy-approved ;)

Wow! Living in well water and septic makes it hard to find a friendly soap that also does the job. Well Tide finally nailed it! This is user and environmentally friendly and makes my clothes look like new after each wash! So recommending this product!

I think this laundry detergent is great. It works awesome on all my laundry including my husbands really dirty work clothes. It gets the stains out and smells awesome. First of all the smell of the honey & lavender is amazing. Normally I use scent boosters to make my clothing smell nice but there was no need to do that with this detergent. I love how it is environmentally friendly.

I like this Tide purclean product. I think I would love it if it was totally unscented. As someone who grew up with chemically sensitive people, I prefer to use detergents that are without fragrance completely, as well as free of dyes, etc. However, the scent on this product - honey lavender - is actually very mild. Actually, it doesn't smell like lavender at all! I was really surprised by this because when I opened the packet I thought it would be heavy with lavender. I even had to put my nose right up to the liquid to sniff the scent. It has a clean smell, perhaps that's the "honey" part, but it was hard to define. I was happy about that, though other people might be disappointed at the lack of lavender scent implied. When my towels came out of the dryer they really didn't smell too much, it was just a nice clean smell, and they looked clean and fresh. I haven't tested out the stain removing aspect of the liquid yet (my towels looked no whiter or brighter than before washing) but I do like that this product is free of dyes and all those yucky chemicals.

Absolutely love this laundry detergent. I've switched over to using this detergent regularly. The Honey Lavender scent is subtle but comforting and my whole family has mentioned how good the laundry has smelled this week. I cleaned all of our bedding and both my kids snuggled right into their blankets and sniffed their pillows happily. My daughter has sensitive skin and I've had to use unscented detergent up until now but not anymore!! I highly recommend this product!!!

Didnt expect much but was pleasantly surprised at the way it cleaned my clothes and left them smelling! It took out the grass stains and dirt without any issues and did the same for my kids clothing too! Also nice to know its coming for a 100% renewable wind power and generates no landfill waste

I always look for ways to live my life sustainably, and I'm not sure why I haven't applied it to my laundry until now. Perhapps I always thought it wouldn't be as clean just because there aren't harsh chemicals, but boy was I wrong. Tide purclean not only is great for the environment, but it also left my clothes feeling clean and fresh! I also don't have to worry as much about the impact that my laundry is having on the environment as well! I will definitely recommend this to everyone. It doesn't take a lot of effort to be clean AND green!

I'm falling in love with the new Tide Purclean laundry detergent. I was kind of skeptical on whether or not this bio-based detergent would actually clean and get stains out of mine and my little one's clothes, as another well known "pure" laundry detergent that I'd bought did not live up to my expectations. But Tide Purclean surpassed my expectactions. It completely got out the blueberry stains (after a little pretreating first) from my little one's clothes that I thought may still (and usually does) linger after the wash. And our other clothes that had started to look a little dingy, even after being washed, came out looking much brighter and cleaner. The honey lavender scent is also divine and does not irritate me, my husband or my little one (hubby actually real likes the scent). It feels really good to know that I'm using a product that is a lot more sustainable and friendlier to the environment than other detergents. And with no dyes, chlorine, phosphates, ethanolamine and optical brighteners I feel more than comfortable using it for my little one's clothes.

i think its nice and the smell lasts until you wear it. the detergent its self works and took out stains left behind by my 6 year old haha. so its a nice detergent and it is the first 65% USDA certified bio-based detergent with the cleaning power of Tide. i used them all already and gave some to my mother in law to try.

This product works well, sometimes green products don't work as well as the regular ones but Tide purclean cleans as well as regular Tide. I am used to unscented detergent so the lavender smell was a little too strong for my liking - if they come out with an unscented version I would definitely switch over to this product.

Not only is it Eco friendly,budget friendly and easy on the skin..it cleans too!!!Clothes look just as white,and stains come out like original Tide,but with less damage to our vulnerable ecosystems!!!The price point of this is fabulous,and this will replace our current household detergent

It is such a good detergent. After using couple loads, I went to the grocery store and bought big one directly. Feel good to our earth.

I absolutely believe that this detergent is the best so far that I have tried. I have tried many other detergents; some are bad, some are alright but THIS ONE: This one is amazing! When I saw the sent of the detergent I knew instantly I was going to love it. I absolutely love lavender and this is with honey too! My clothes came out fresh and clean with a very pleasant but not too strong scent. I am very pleased with this detergent and would defiantly purchase it . No complaints from me. Thanks BzzAgent!

Normally, we use a homemade laundry detergent but I recently came across an article that said homemade detergent wasn't the same as commercially made detergent. In addition to not cleaning your laundry it can actually harm your washing machine! It wasn't quite a week later that I received an invite to the Tide Purclean campaign! What timing! We have used about half of the packets and so far are quite impressed! The scent is light and pleasant - even my husband agrees! We are not big fans of the strong floral scent that most detergents have so it was nice to have one that did not give me a headache. Tide Purclean is also slightly thinner of a detergent than others so I find that it comes out of the detergent slot much more easily and doesn't leave a ring of residue. I like that it was able to effectively clean items that are more delicate - like my daughters' dance attire.

About 8 or so years ago, Tide sold a detergent that had the exact same smell to it but they discontinued production for some reason. It was a natural/essential line with baking soda so I had purchased it to use for my sensitive skin family to try. Unfortunately my husband developed a rash from it when I had used it around his neck, socks and belt line so I used it only to wash my own delicates. As soon as I cut off the top of this detergent I recognized the smell. It's mild and smells great but definitely isn't a new scent, just one Tide appears to be rebranding with the all natural, zero waste production facility and renewable energy wind farm concept attached to their marketing campaign. In addition to the "free from" certain additives that many consumers are conscious of now including, ethanolamine, dyes, chlorine and phosphates because of their negative environmental and biological human impact. Smart move since that is an important, social cause for large companies to be focusing on their environmental footprints and social responsibilities. Tide Purclean works like any other HE detergent in my opinion; my clothes were cleaned without any residue in my top loading washing machine. The scent is mild and does linger slightly following wash and since I don't use any fabric softeners or added scent boosters, I know the loads I have washed with Pur Clean as opposed to my usual brand. I would definitely buy it but the big test will be to see if my husband or children develop a rash due to skin sensitivities. I've secretly washed my hubbies socks and undergarments in Pur Clean without his knowledge and will wait to see if there is any negative reactions over a few more washed loads. One load isn't enough to determine sensitivity.

Nowadays, everyone's abuzz in regards to being 'more sustainable' or more green. However, ways to become so are limited when it comes to household activities. The new Tide® purclean fits into my lifestyle as well as anyone else seeking to make a more eco-friendly change. I received 5 sachets of Tide® purclean in a sample size of 1 load. As of now, I have been able to use up all 5 sample sizes and I'm quite impressed by the end results. My clothes are as clean and fresh-scented in comparison to the regular Tide detergent I currently use. The quality of the product remains in the brand name of Tide and this product is different than any other products I've tested before since how this product is made is what makes it a breakthrough. This product is made at a zero manufacturing waste to landfill site and is designed free of dyes, chlorine, phosphates or optical brighteners. I currently live in a part of Canada that will soon have carbon tax implications for the residential population and any step that I can take to reduce my carbon footprint will ultimately also lower my family's overall carbon tax. I have received the Tide Purple an through bzzagent. Love the Honey Lavender scent. It has no dyes, chlorine and phosphates. It is very gentle for families with sensitivity issues. Stain fighter and energy saver product. Can be used in both HE and regular machines.

I work in a hospital, so my scrubs come in contact with and pick up a lot of nasty stains. Tide purclean does a fantastic job of getting rid of all of the spots and stains! I especially love that Yide Purclean removes the stains without resorting to harmful chemicals (and without pre-treatment, which is great for us busy people). Look at this scrub top-you'd never be able to tell that before washing, it was spotted with blood!

We are expecting a baby on February 1 and got 3 bags of secondhand baby clothes and bibs as well as a Boba baby carrier from friends in very good condition except for staining. There were spots of pink, red, green, brown, yellow and orange from food on the shirts and some grass stains on pant knees and elbows. While some stains were pale and faint, others were more noticeable, especially on the white bibs and pastel-coloured shirts. Figuring the natural ingredients of Tide would be OK for a baby, and hoping that the stains would come off, I tossed the clothes, bibs and carrier into our washer along with one sachet of the Tide sample. Lo and behold, 51 minutes later...everything came out with only the tiniest hint of lavender (I honestly don't even like the scent of lavender, but this wasn't too bad) and the faint stains had vanished. The tougher ones, like the grass marks on the knees and elbows of some outfits, were considerably lighter; I'm sure that with another wash in hot water they'd come off entirely or be hardly visible. Also greatly appreciated was how the bright colours of the clothing remained bright. Overall, I was very, very pleased with how the laundry turned out, and thankfully our baby won't be coming home from the hospital naked now that she has clean onesies, socks, hats and jackets! If Tide makes an unscented bio detergent, I'd be the first in line to buy it!

The urge to use ecological and biological product is very strong for me. I was glad to have a detergent that also takes this seriously. I wish the whole brand would take this action. The detergent was efficient and worked very well. My clothes were left clean and smelling fresh. I loved it !

I really love Tide PurClean. Firstly it cleaned my clothes (most important!!) - I even put white dirty socks in the laundry (no bleach) and it did an admirable job cleaning them (not sparkling white like when you use bleach but still clean!). I also LOVED the scent...I saw some reviews the scent was overpowering etc so the first thing I did when I opened a package was smell it and it was a subtle honey/lavender scent (not in the least bit over powering) and frankly there was no scent on my clothes after they were laundered. What I move love about this product is the thought into how a giant company that produces Tide can start to be environmentally friendly and that there are no dyes etc as I feel there are far too many artificial things in everything (food, cleaning products etc) so I would definitely buy this product!!!

Really glad I was chosen to try this product from Bzzagent and Tide Purclean. It took out the coffee stains i ended up with one stressful day at work when I drank 4 pots of coffee...no wonder some of it spilled on my clothes:( Can't wait to test it on my boyfriends greasy and oily clothes....he always seems to get dirty when working on small engines....can't wait to post the before and after pictures for that:) Did I mention to everyone that it has an awesome scent to it....love it....need a candle with that scent and my world would be perfect.

The Tide purclean campaign is here! I don't generally use Tide or any major brand detergent, so was interested in giving this one a try. I'm intrigued by the idea of a major brand offering a product that is sustainably manufactured and free of dyes, phosphates, etc. These are huge bonuses for my family of three, some of whom have major allergies and sensitivities to a long list of food and environmental items. My initial excitement wilted some upon opening the single use package. The scent is very strong. It's not a particularly bad smell, but just very strong. For a family that doesn't use scented cleaners or products, this was a lot to take in. I did a trst load of laundry with our sheets and blankets for the spare bed. They came out or the wash clean and soft, but the smell still lingered. I'll try a few minutes more loads and write a second review, but the scent may just be a deal breaker for this family.

This new Tide is a great addition to the Tide family! The name is a perfect fit to this product. Knowing that this detergent is made with 100% renewable wind power electricity shows that this manufacturer cares about the earth. Having Tide Pur clean free-from colour and dyes and is a Biobased product makes me much more encouraged to purchase it. I have sensitive skin and this product was only lightly scented with honey and lavender, therefore it did not irritate me.

I love this new tide, finally a good quality brand choosing to be free of dyes, brighteners and chlorine. I love that it is made in a plant that uses 100% renewable wind power, it make me wonder how they make the rest of there product line which i also use. Definitely a step in the right direction for Tide. I found it cleaned the clothes well, I washed a load of kitchen soiled clothes, they came out nice and fresh from the washer, thumbs up in my book.

My family always used Tide products to wash laundry. So when I found out that Tide has a new environmentally friendly laundry detergent - I just had to try it. It is fantastic! It smells great, still cleans like the original Tide and its environmentally friendly. Its a great product and I highly recommend it.

I have sensitive skin so I'm always very careful with products that have a lot of chemicals so I love how it this is eco friendly. It leaves my clothes smelling so good and leaves my clothes soft. Another plus is that it is also good for the environment!

The lavender scent is calming and smells good, the results from washing a regular load of laundry was good. Although i didn't try it only any super soiled clothing but for an average load of laundry it seems to do the job. And the plus side of using it is the eco friendly factor!
