It might not have the same kick as wine, but grape juice stains are just as frustrating to get out of clothing. Fortunately, if you want to get rid of grape juice stains, Tide can help you out with these tips.
On-the-Go Tip:
Wet a cloth with cold water and blot the stain or run cold water through the back of the stain. If available, use
Tide to Go Instant Stain Remover.
- Remove the excess residue from the stain.
- Press the tip of the Tide to Go Instant Stain Remover onto the stain several times to release some of the stain remover solution.
- Rub the tip gently across the stain to remove it. If necessary, add more liquid and continue to rub gently.
- Important: If the treated area is exposed to direct sunlight, then wipe with a damp cloth or a napkin to remove excess solution.
Remove Excess:
Blot excess and run cold water over the stain immediately.

Pre-treat:
Pour Tide Ultra Stain Release Liquid directly onto the grape juice stain, and use a soft-bristled toothbrush to work the detergent into the fibers of the garment. You can also rub the fabric together gently. Make sure you completely cover the stain with detergent, and let it set for 5 minutes.

Dose:
Use the cap to ensure you use the right amount of detergent, and pour it into the detergent dispenser if you have an HE machine, or directly into the drum before loading the clothes if you have a non-HE machine.

Load:
Without rinsing off the detergent, place the garment into the washer with other items. Leaving the detergent on the stain will give your wash that extra boost of cleaning power.

Wash:
Wash on the usual cycle, on warm. Always check the instructions on the garment’s care label.

Unload:
When the cycle is complete, unload the garments immediately.

If the stain persists after washing, repeat the previous steps before tossing in the dryer, as drying will set the stain.
