Tide Plus Downy Free Liquid Laundry Detergent

This works great for sensitive skin! I’ve had eczema and it’s great for it. It doesn’t irritate my skin like the orange tide and it isn’t scented which is great for me

I recently started using this laundry soap and the soft lavender scent is amazing . It smells like a lavender vanilla. I recommend!

Absolutely love this amazing laundry detergent. Cleans gently as it also has fabric softener so it softens close all at the same time. Non irritating to our skin which is always a huge win in our house. @TidePlusDowney

I have sensitive skin and have to be careful what i was my clothes with. Tide "free" prpducts work for me. This particular one already has downy in it for a little extra softness to the laundry. Clean, light scent. I would recommend this for sensitive folks

I love this detergent for my baby’s items! I originally was using the Dreft baby detergent but it was just wayyy to expensive... this one works great in removing stains but doesn’t have any insane chemicals or fragrances. My son hasn’t had any sort of irritation with this and it leaves his clothes very soft.

I have sensitive skin and this detergent has never given me any problems. With some of the free detergents there isn’t too much suds but with tide I get it and I love the Downy in it to help clothes be soft. It’s also great for@my toddles clothes and her sensitive skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having sensitive skin means having to watch the ingredients of anything that touches it, so laundry products need very close scrutiny.  Most have artificial dyes and fragrances that can aggravate existing conditions like eczema and psoriasis and cause irritation in otherwise clear skin.  I often find those ingredients give me an itchy rash, and I certainly don't want to subject my family to such discomfort.  But I still need a detergent that can get out the tough stains and funky smells.  That's why I am delighted to have discovered Tide Plus Downy Free! I have used Tide Pods and other Tide products in the past, so I knew they were superior in terms of cleaning and caring for clothing, but the irritation made me look for more natural alternatives.  Unfortunately, while those products didn't bother my skin, they just didn't clean as well.  I've been using Tide Plus Downy Free for several weeks now, and it has the same Tide power I remember.  It cleans our clothes gently, but still gets out tough stains like chocolate ice cream.  There's no need for a separate fabric softener because the Downy is already there, which is convenient and economical.  It conditions our clothes and leaves them nice and soft, which is especially important for times I choose to hang laundry to dry rather than using the dryer.   There's virtually no scent at all in this detergent.  I do miss that fresh laundry smell, but I love the safety and gentleness of this product even more.  Tide Plus Downy Free has everything I want in a laundry product and nothing I don't!

I am a Tide Girl, I grew up smelling the original powder every Saturday on laundry day. It brings back great memories and cleans clothes better than any other detergent I have ever tried. However, I have a new baby who has eczema so I moved to a far more expensive baby detergent until I came across this product. It has not broken her out and the clothes come out clean, fresh, and extra soft. I absolutely love love love it.

Personally my husband and I have pretty tough skin that doesn’t tend to be sensitive however when we have family and friends over this is the detergent I use. Since I don’t know which of my guests might have skin sensitivities I wash my sheets with this detergent and any clothes they may need cleaned. It leaves the clothes squeaky clean which is what you would expect from Tide while still being gentle enough for sensitive skins.

Its perfume free best for my family who are allergic to heavy scents so i have to make a careful choice about what everythig that contains perfume. This liquid soap is perfume free yet each laundry smell fresh after the wash, which is something different about this when i compare with brands, they are also free from scent but do not feel fresh or effective in fighting against the stains. The clothes are clean and fresh. Its dye free, good for sensitive skin just what I need for my family, safe and powerful laundry soap. I would defintely recommend this laundry soap.

I have a slight case of eczema and never really considered that laundry detergent could help address it. After a couple of loads, I can testify that my clothes hasn't irritated it more or anything, so all the better! The natural/fragrance free takes me a little getting used to after years of Tide conditioning, but its a nice welcome! So far, I'm digging this new detergent and its going into my regular rotation. I like my laundry to have that fresh clean scent when it is finished being laundered and this product doesn’t do that. If it was just Tide liquid then I wouldn’t expect anything however with it being a “plus downy” I had hoped for that downy scent that I love. I will say my laundry is soft I washed blankets and they did come out soft and there isn’t any static however, I’m just missing the smell. I recommend this product if that smell isn’t what’s important to you. I guess this is great if you are notoriously forgetting to add the fabric softener. Your laundry will still be soft and static free!

With the Tide pods with downy, you no longer have to use extra fabric softener it is made in the product so people like me that forget to put the fabric softener in, can start the washer and forget about it. It seems to be working well and not causing any breakouts from changing his laundry soap. There is really no smell to this soap, but his clothes do smell clean at the same time. I have noticed my clothes keep their original size and quality. It also reduces color fading which is a common problem I have had in the past prior to Downy Tide use. Tide, alone, usually is a reliable detergent brand, as well as Downy in the fabric softener department. Our clothes were clean and less wrinkled. It is as simple as that. The only thing I do miss is the fragrance that usually has our clothes smelling good. We do have sensitive skin, but not from the fragrances.

This is my review for Tide High Efficiency Plus Free a scent free, dye free detergent with great stain removing properties. This detergent is different because it has been recognized by the National Eczema Foundation and the National Psoriasis Foundation for being gentle on the skin. I have sensitive skin and my husband is in the Military he requires his combats to be clean and scent free. This is a truly scent free product that actually can clean dirty, stinky combats and yet it is gentle enough for my pyjamas with my sensitive skin. I have never used this product before because of my fear of irritating my skin but the quality of the Tide products has made me a believer and I will be regularly purchasing this. I believe this would be an appropriate detergent to wash clothes from infancy up due to its gentleness. I know it would cut down on time doing a separate wash all the time for baby's clothes.

I have long been finding a mild detergent that works for both our clothes and my toddler's since I have been using a baby detergent to wash her clothes. I am happy to say that the Tide Liquid High Efficiency Plus Free is mild enough to use for my toddler's clothes but still have the same stain removing action that Tide is known for. It also has a very mild scent that can pass as unscented which is perfect for kid's skin. I am glad that I no longer have to purchase 2 different detergent for the whole family thus, saving us money. In all, I would definitely recommend this if you are looking to switch to a regular detergent from a baby detergent.

I am very impressed with the #Tide #+Downy #Detergent, #NoPerfumes, #NoDyes, #ForSensitiveSkin. It is difficult to find a product without those ingredients that cleans as well as this did. My family members have very sensitive skin and this left no irritation or itching on the skin. The small bottle is deceiving because it lasts quite awhile. My husband is in healthcare and it is so important to clean his scrubs effectively especially with the danger of Covid-19. I feel good about using this product. It is very effective in cleaning our clothes and yet very gentle on skin.

Recently tried the Tide + Downy Free laundry soap, and was not a fan. Found it did not provide a lot of suds when I was washing, which made me a few times check to make sure I included it in the wash. To me suds mean its cleaning and doing its job. From what I could tell it did give a thorough cleaning however. I am a regular Tide user, but just feel this product wasnt the best for me. I would not buy it again. I would say that it would likely be good for those with sensitive skin as there was zero fragrance.

There is no scent, it's great for any sensitive to scent and has sensitive skin. I also liked measuring cup, that gave clear marks for the perfect amount for the size of load. Would use this again, and recommend!

The 1.09L give you roughly 24 loads. It is gentle on your skin. It was developed specifically for people with sensitive skin. Tide Plus Downy Free is a dermatologist-recommended liquid laundry detergent. It is recognized by the National Eczema Association (NEA) and the National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF). Hypoallergenic as well. Even though it is scent free you clothes smell clean and fresh. I was pleasantly surprised.

I would recommend Tide + Downy Free because I really liked that it was scent free and dye free. With eczema in my household, that is important to me as well as just better for the environment in general and for others who are sensitive to scents. I tried it on some winter coats and some quilts and the cleaning power seems good - not much noticeable difference from other detergents in terms of getting items clean. I didn't notice the Downy part making much of a difference at first glance. Overall, it's a good laundry detergent and is free from a few unnecessary, harmful extras that aren't good for skin or the environments, which is a step in the right direction.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review, so I tried it for the first time for my daughter's clothes she has sensitive skin and we felt its very gentle on clothes and yet it took out all the stains, her clothes have all kids of stains which are sometimes not really easily cleaned but this one did the job. Also it has no scent which my husband absolutely loved about it. I would declare it our new family favourite.

This is a great laundry detergent for those sensitive who have sensitive skin. I do not suffer from sensitive skin, but am conscious of buying products free of perfumes, dyes and other irritants. This fits all those requirements and does a good job cleaning and removing dirt and stains from clothes. The only thing I would like to see is possibly an option for a scented version. This of course would be derived from natural sources to keep it free of harmful ingredients. This way my clothes would have a fresh scent, which I am use to.

This product was perfect for washing my 21 yr old sons clothes. He gets pretty messy and hard to make his clothes clean again. The Tide plus Downey got the whites white and smelling so fresh. Gold star for making my son smile and happy with how his clothes turned out. I would recommend this product to any parent who has messy kids. The Tide Liquid High Efficiency Plus Downy Free detergent I used has been great. I have a young son at home and avoiding any fragrance is a key. The detergent did well with the son's soiled clothes and also removes stains from my toddler's cloths. The bottle size and nice and compact and fits well in my cabinet. The downside is I've have to get a new bottle sooner. I would recommend this detergent to other new parents.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. My children and I suffer from eczema and finding a laundry detergent and softener that work for all of our skins is hard! I was excited to revives the Tide + Downy Free liquid detergent and put it to the test! I washed everyone's sheets and hung them to dry. We re-washed a few days later for testing purposes. Not a single person has broken out in any new rashes! No one complained of itchiness or redness from trying a new product. This was a success for us! Pros: free of scent and additives, mixed ingredients so you don't have to try to find a detergent and a fabric softener that work Cons: pricer than "normal" detergent but everything comes with a price.

I am not super sensitive to it, but I don't like the idea of artificially scents in my laundry for things like dish towels which may come into contact with things I ingest. This product has no artificial scents and is suitable for people with allergies. However, there were still many chemicals on the back which I could not pronounce so I would go with a more natural product next time. The laundry results themselves were satisfactory

The Tide + Downy Free Laundry Detergent is perfect for people who have sensitive skin, eczema or psoriasis. No perfumes & no dyes. I washed two loads using less than half the cap of soap for each load. My dryer broke down that day so I hung up the clothes to dry, some inside and some outside. They were clean and just as soft as if I had used fabric softener in the rinse cycle. In my opinion this detergent saves a person money, I don't have to look for fabric softeners that are gentle on my skin nor buy any fabric softener it's all in the one bottle. I was very pleased with this laundry detergent. No matter if you are sensitive to the smell of perfumes, or your skin is sensitive this product is right for you.

Absolutely love this product my son has eczema and many other allergies as well. This product did not leave residue resulting in no skin sensitivities for my son which we have a hard time finding with most products . We are pretty outdoorsy and always get stains mud and grass on us and everything was virtually gone. I was quite impressed at what it took out without having to use an added booster. This will definitely be a staple In our homes especially for my son.

As a parent with young children, I am concerned about their skin especially since when I used regular detergents, it seemed to increase the reactions on their skin. For the past while I have been trying different kinds of detergents and was pleasantly surprised with the Tide + Downy Free detergent. I tend to prefer using liquids, because in the past I have found that the plastic coatings on the pods didn't dissolve fully and would then cause articles of clothing to stick together in the dryer. I had not tried Tide + Downy Free liquid detergent until this offer had been posted. My honest review is that this product definitely cleans my children's clothes. I find that by using the recommended dose, it works. However, I would have preferred that there was a bit more Downy product inside the soap, as I still found that there was a lot of static cling upon removing the clean laundry from the dryer. I wouldn't hesitate to use this product again and to purchase it. I would however like that they work on the formula and make it even better.

I do not usually buy Tide products as I find they are somewhat irritating for the skin, but I do buy Downy to make the laundry soft. The two put together was a pleasant surprise. I washed sheets and underwear, everything that is exposed to the most sensitive areas, the most skin. I think I can safely claim this product is excellent for those with sensitive skin; it also cleans very well, you can see those Tide formulas at work in there. I like it, I think it is a good product, it leaves a pleasant fresh smell in the clothes and I don't see what more I could want from a laundry detergent. Get it clean, but don't lose your skin in the process!

I can honestly say "WOW" when I used this laundry detergent. I know it advertises "No Perfumes" "No Dyes" and "For Sensitive Skin" and I've seen this before on other detergents but the cleaning power just wasn't there on those other detergents. My families clothes would still come out with some stains that would have easily been removed if I used a normal detergent or it went the other way and cleaned the clothes but was not for sensitive skinned people. My wife and son have sensitive skin/allergies to things like water temperature, the amount of salt or chlorine in the water, certain dyes in clothing and soap and perfumes or deodorants, etc. They get rashes and hives, there skin gets all scaly, etc. I was very skeptical prior to trying this cause I assumed it would be like the rest, but it wasn't. It actually cleaned as well as normal detergents. I always did like the cleaning power of Tide, thought it was one of the best detergents on the market, just a little too pricey. Anyways it was up to the skin challenge now, my wife and 8 month old son have been wearing the clothes that were washed with this detergent for the past 2 days and I haven't heard of any issues. My wife actually commented that the clothes felt softer than usual, that must be the Downy in the detergent which I was surprised after one wash you'd be able to feel a difference like that. Still skeptical but you got to listen to your wife. =\ The only con I have about this is the same thing I have with all Tide products, it's just a little too pricey compared to other detergents. Since this detergent works better washing and is gentle on sensitive skin and I need a detergent like this for my family I will be purchasing it again but if I had a choose and it came down to price I would probably go with a cheaper detergent that does the same cleaning job.

This detergent is a great one for people with sensitive skin or have skin disorders (Eczema, Psoriasis, etc.) and is even approved by the National Eczema Association and the National Psoriasis Foundation! I tried this product as wanted to try something free of perfumes and "extras" to be better for my family's health and also to see if I get any improvement on stain and grease-fighting on my clothing. Definitely no scent (even when sniffing bottle) and minimal bubbles in my HE washer. Mainly did my loads decent, with about same amount of clothing items that needed a re-wash due to stains or grease stains compared to my other detergent. One confusing thing is that you need MORE detergent for an HE washer than any other washing machine. I confirmed this on their website and this is true. I have done about 5 loads so far and used almost half of the small bottle. If any of my family had skin issues, this would be a good product. I am on the fence about purchasing more, but will continue to use until bottle is complete to get the full evaluation.

Love the fact that Tide Liquid High Efficiency Plus Downy Free has no perfumes or dyes, making it a great product for anyone with sensitive skin. Occasionally laundry deterrents will make the skin of certain family members itchy. We have never known if it is the scent added or the dye, so this helps to eliminate both items as a potential irritant. All of our laundry came out wonderfully clean, and the added Downy left our laundry soft without us needing to add any thing else to either the wash or the dryer. We also did not have any static when removing our laundry from the dryer, which has been a problem for us the last little while. If you want your laundry scented, then obviously this will not be the product for you. If you do not require any of the fancy colour additives or scents than this Tide Liquid High Efficiency Plus Downy Free should be perfect for you.
