The smell and clean well easy to use environment friendly. They are not sticky at all.My to go is tide free pods but I bought these on impulse. Works well on my towels and they go have a strong scent if you like that

I’m a mechanic for a major U.S airline, my work clothes get contaminated with aircraft de-icing fluid, hydraulic fluid, diesel fuel, gas, parts cleaning chemicals, grease, dirt, rust stains, motor oils, transmission fluids, paint, you name it! I also have eczema so I have to be carful with what I expose my skin to such as laundry detergents. This Tide Hygienic Clean Heavy Duty pod gets my daily clothes clean and my filthy work clothes clean every single time and gets rid of all odors WITH OUT BOTHERING MY SKIN!!! This has been the only laundry detergent I’ve used for years

Tide keeps my clothes clean and smelling fresh all day long. My husband and I both have dirty jobs so we keep the laundry detergent business hopping. I do love that ride offers multiple sizes so if I need to take a small bottle alone while traveling or have a large bottle for home use. It’s a great value for my money.

PSA for others! I have been using Tide pods for sheets and towels for my household, so I recently decided to try this hygienic clean pod option. For about 10 days I’ve had a very itchy skin rash that has gotten worse. My kids have matching (fortunately smaller) spots, so we’ve been trying to figure it out. This is the culprit. I have re-washed sheets with non-irritating detergent, but my rash has gotten so bad that I just had to get a prednisone prescription to help clear it up. Nothing like this has ever happened, so I want to caution others. It’s crazy that detergent can make your skin this irritated :(.

I used these Pods …. Smelled strong but clean. Couldn’t figure out why I was itching so much Last night was the worse, I took a Benadryl to sleep. Figured out had to be the pods. I won’t be buying these again. Any suggestions what I can use? I really love Tide x

Please do not change the scent or anything about this product! My favorite tide by far. I work with animals and these get everything clean and the scent is the best, I am reading about people saying the scent lingers, I agree and it's a good thing! People always compliment that we smell clean. Great stuff.

I like these tide pods spring meadow. They are great. They are easy to use and they are effective. They clean my clothes great. They are a good value.

I used this product in a load of laundry over the father's day weekend. This product has left bleach like streaks on an undergarment and my new father's day T shirt my wife bought me. They are now ruined. I knew better that to use such a product. The scent is also very strong and I don't like it.

Amazing scent that lasts for a long time. Its kind of floral snd sweet but fresh! However sometimes the pods do leave a residue bc i use cold so id recommend having it ob double rinse!

They’re effectively and I like there’s no irritating scent or chemicals in these that affect my sensitive skin. They handle small and large loads of laundry without issue. The packs are a good value size-wise, but I wish they came with an option for a more eco-friendly refill - I don’t always need a replacement bucket or tub.

I was so impressed with how well this pod cleaned my clothes. I never tried these before but my friend gave me one and my clothes were never this clean! I’m going to be buying this product regularly. I thought it was too expensive but by the way it cleaned my clothes, it is well worth the price. I really liked the smell too. Tide Power PODS in Spring Meadow scent is my absolute favorite scent Tide makes in pods. I have always been weary of using pods and stuck with liquid detergent. My Mom is the one who turned me onto these. She told me that she uses the Tide pods, and they were EXACTLY the same as the liquid Tide, but with no mess or overusing!! She's absolutely right, but dont tell her I said that!! The pods are a perfectly portioned amount of detergent that you just throw in the washer. I mean, it literally can't get any easier than that. Now, I have my teenagers doing their laundry, and I don't have to worry about them using up all the detergent! Score for this Mama of 5!! You literally can't go wrong with these pods, I dont know why it took me so long to try them! Tide continues to be the king of absolutely everything laundry related!!

I bought these for the convenience of the packaging and the expected quality I’ve known from the Tide brand. These pods pack too much of a fragrant punch that last long after washing, for some people this might be great but it’s not for me. I’ve washed everything once again without any detergent to make the items wearable. Today I purchased Gain pods to replace these mega strong Tide scent bombs. Now these will sit on my laundry shelf until I’m either desperate or I find a homeless camp or a high school football team that needs their laundry done.

I can not find this product anywhere. Three stores have signs up saying there are supply issues from the manufacturer. Or is it being discontinued?

This is my go to laundry detergent because it just works perfectly and clothes are always clean and any stains are removed plus any viruses or bacteria I may have encountered on my clothes are as such will be dissolved and cleaned , and love that it still has that nice smell to it , I've bought a ton of this product and keep several packs of these pods on hand, so when I do laundry 🧺 I never run out, Thank you TIDE!!! P.S. I do laundry almost everyday!!!

I got the Clear Hygienic Pods to use on all my sheets and towels, after one washing the buildup up of skin oils is gone. The sheets are bright white, soft, and smell clean without any artificial scent. I love this product so much i sent it to my daughters to try in their homes.

When we switched to Tide Pods, this particular variety has been my go-to because the scent was pleasant. Recently, though, around the time the new packaging was introduced, the scent has a sharper note to it, which is too strong for people sensitive to certain scents. I know this because I still have some of the older pods and compared the two. It's unfortunate that the scent has been changed as I will likely have to find a more suitable detergent because whatever has been added to it is awful.

I can’t believe it! I got red pop out of a cream colored new sweatshirt. I thought it was ruined. I threw it in the washing machine and wasn’t expecting the stains to disappear. I took it out of the washer and the stains were gone! Truly an amazing product.

Tide has been my tried and tested brand for a long time. This brand never disappoints me, takes care of my clothing so well. These new Tide pods, 4-n-1 with Febreze, HE Compatible, Lasting Freshness, Botanical Rain Scent are my new favorite. My clothes smells so fresh like a garden of flowers. The fragrance last long as well. I love the fact that, it is super convenient, you just have to add pods, no need to add multiple items. Laundry is ready with pleasant smell with no fuss of adding and measuring so many products. The pods are very well designed, perfect quality and quantity. These are by far my favorite thing to wash my clothes in. After washing, my clothes always feel very clean and soft. I bought these cause I work for a railroad, nothing seemed to be keeping my clothes clean and smelling fresh. Every load has been 1 pod, came out clean, smelled amazing and dissolved without a problem. Totally recommend.

Tide Power Pods Heavy Duty Cleans clothes, removes stains and odors. I highly recommend this detergent. My daughter plays softball and her uniform gets really dirty this detergent removes stains with a breeze!

I tried and loved the liquid version of these, so I decided to try the pods…. And the pods work just as well as the liquid. I always have both on hand and use both all the time. Easily the best detergent I’ve tried, and I’ve tried them ALL.

1 pod created too many suds and didn’t rinse out. Would not recommend for home use.

I found out the hard way, when I suffered from a chemical burn from a small amount of detergent didn't wash out of my sports bra. I checked the rest of my laundry from the same load and found more detergent residue. I usually use the sports odor defense and have never had this issue.

The amount of nauseating scent in these pods is ridiculous. I had to rewash everything in water just to dilute the disgusting smell.

Do not hesitate about buying this…just go buy it. You won’t regret it. The smell is amazing but that’s not all…the cleansing power of these pods is unmatched in my opinion. 10/10 hands down the best ever.

Lol idk what’s up with everyone fussing, but first off, if something is shipped to you and arrives leaking or otherwise damaged, that’s not the manufacturer’s fault. That said, we absolutely love these. The scent is amazing and the cleaning power is unmatched. A lot of people hype Persil up, and I’m not saying that Persil is a bad detergent by any means, but in our opinion the hygienic power pods clean much better. Also, Persil literally smells like Megatron’s medicine cabinet or something. If you want actually clean clothes, these will not be beat. As far as price, you get what you pay for. If you want cheap meme detergents, then buy cheap meme detergents and get cheap meme results. If you want clean, get these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received two sample pods with my new washer. I was leery to use these due to the offensive strong smell of the pods right out of the packaging. I washed my clothes and the entire laundry rooms was reeking of what I consider a TOXIC smell. I waited till the next day to see if maybe the smell dissapated BUT NO JUST AS STRONG. I had to re wash the entire load wasting electricity and water. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND this to anyone. If you are so dang dirty that you need 10x the cleaning power then you need to rethink your habits.

They get our clothes clean and the kids sensitive skin isnt effected by these like the non free and clear ones do. Works well with our fe washer.

Very disappointed. Nothing was clean. Small stains on sheet were still there. My work lab coat, looked the same. Still had “ring around the collar”. Bought this to wash towels, sheets and clothes the day before surgery. Rewahed everything with Persol. This Tide seemed like blue water. Pure garbage.

I have to use Tide that is “free and clear”. I cannot handle detergents that have a strong smell. That is why I use Tide Free and Clear. My pros and cons are for the product you asked about.

Got these pods as a sample with my new washing machine. Washed sheets and pillowcases and now cannot sleep on them because of the overwhelming fragrance (migraine trigger for me) from the pods. I've rewashed several times with baking soda and vinegar rinses and the odor remains. Any suggestions?

Tide is the only detergent that can help me clean my son’s dirty clothes. Since he is a construction worker, it gets really filthy and with Tide it becomes really clean. I also reccomend Tide because I am a housekeeper and it helps me do their laundry more efficient.

Doctor had her change to tide. Well I'm 40 now and my mom has used nothing else. When I was in my 20s I tried All and cheer. Nothing got my clothes clean. I'm allergic to gain, sun, and cheaper detergents. I began using tide pods probably 10 yrs ago. When they came out with the oxi ones I was wowed a couple yrs ago. I have lots of dogs, a husband and teenager so I I wash big loads. I switched to these because I only have to use 1 and it really gets everything clean. We love them.

This is a great laundry detergent. I love how easy it is use. I just toss one pod in my clothes in the washer and I'm good to go. This product gets my laundry clean and has a good smell that last a long time. The only downfall is sometimes the pod doesn't dissolve all the way and leaves some of it on my clothes. It's easy to fix I just wash it again and it comes right off.

I don’t usually use these. I went to my mom house and she gave me a few, honey when I say the best. My clothes smell wonderful. It literally only took one. I love it and now I’m a customer. I literally stopped my day to do this review that’s how amazed I was

After switching to Tide, I've had several articles of clothing and linens seemingly ruined by pods that didn't dissolve. After the first couple of times noticing it happening, I thought maybe I overloaded the machine, so I made sure not to the next time. When it happened the next time, I made sure the water was warm enough to help it dissolve...nope. I have tracked every load that I have used Tide Pods on and EVERY load has one item of clothing with an undissolved pod stuck to it. I have tried to rewash the article without adding another pod, tied soaking it in warm or even hot water and can not get the pods off. For the price of Tide, you would expect a whole lot better.

The original formula tide is good but this hygenic clean tide is horrible. The smell stays on clothes throughout the day. I ma gagging wearing a t shirt. I wash a blanket and could not sleep because the smell was waking me up. I threw off the blanket so I could sleep. Bad, bad product!! Want my money back.

These pods love up to the heavy duty label. I work as a waiter, and my clothes get stained all the time. These clean my clothes great and have them smelling great

These are meant for soiled clothes, workout clothes, cheer sneakers etc. They clean these items, killing the oder and germs, you can wash other items with them and are guaranteed that they get clean and everything doesn't smell like sweaty workout gear. If I didn't have a child in sports I'd use another pod for regular laundry that tide makes and keep a small amount on hand for really filthy laundry which these are clearly intended for as they have plenty of variety here so you can choose the pod for your needs

I have tried multiple laundry pods over the years, and this is by far my absolute favorite!! It tops gain, and it tops every other tide pod on the market. It's very affordable, because the pods here seem to go much further than the other pods. My laundry just feels cleaner with these, I only ever have to use one regardless of the size of the load. It makes cleaning laundry a breeze, and I don't have to worry about my laundry ever being dirty with these!! Highly recommend!

I recently switched from ALL pods to Tide pods! I’ve been using All for years because it’s inexpensive however it never really felt like it got my clothes fully clean and they never smelled fresh! I have sensitive skin and am pretty iffy when it comes to my detergents. Tide pods have left my clothes feel fresh and clean without the skin reaction I normally get. Expensive but worth the price!!

I recently stocked up on more tide pods free and gentle and this new container is making my skin super itchy and very swollen, along triggering wheezing through wakes me up in the middle of the night. I just finished off a bag of the same pods so something has obviously changed in the formulation.

I am a cloth diapering momma and these Tide Hygienic Clean pods are THE BEST I have used for the diaper laundry. I like using them for the towels, too. They’re affordable and work well for us since we have sensitive skin.

My washer overflowed when I use the hygienic clean heavy 10 times duty. They seem bigger than the regular ones and I'm wondering if it's too much for my front end loader soap wise and that's why it overflowed help

The smell of Tide Pods is not pleasant. I have to go back to Persil. Persil is so much better in scent and cleaning

Normally, when doing laundry, there is a pleasant smell near the laundry room. First time using the power pods, there was a distinct chemical smell. About 30 minutes after folding laundry, my inner arms started breaking out in hives….horrible itching. I thought maybe the cat had gotten into poison ivy and took a shower. Then narrowed it down to the Tide Pods and looked it up. Sure enough, apparently a lot of people are having reactions. It’s 4:30am and I’ve had a long and scary night. I’m done with Tide pods.

I hate the smell. I have the washing machine unit in my bedroom and when I used this pod the whole room smelled of tide. It also stays in clothes after wash. I just hate it. I wish I had bought the tide 3 in 1 pods. They don't smell this bad.

I love how this product cleans my clothes! I also use it with conditioner, sanitizer, stain remover, bleach, liquid brightener, and scent booster. It works well to clean and sanitize my clothes and I love it. Even when I use this on its own it works great! I snuggle with blankets washed with these pods knowing they are clean. These pods are sickeningly smelly. I know fragrance is subjective, and for me they are awful. Please do this in a fragrance free version

The fragrance of Tide Pods (in any variety) is so overpowering. I wish they smelled like the liquid detergent, and I wish they had the same lever of fragrance as the liquid detergent! I want to switch to gain pods because they smell a little better, but the reviews aren't as good. But my boyfriend cannot stand the smell of tide pods, and to be honest, neither can I. :'( Pleeease reduce the amount of fragrance used, and also consider making them smell the same as the liquid detergent, which smells amazing!

Cold water changed my life, clean and well maintained clothing

I've used tide products for years and never had a problem. However, we bought this kind a few days ago and washed our bedding- the next day my eyes were swollen almost shut. I thought it was seasonal allergies. The next day my eyes were swollen again and I woke up itching like crazy- got up to find my whole arms and hands swollen and Covered in hives- had some on my face neck and feet too (i had on long pants do not my legs). If you're someone that has allergies, I would not recommend switching to this. 2 stars because my boyfriend didn't have a reaction.

We tried this pod because it came as a free sample with another purchase. You should warn consumers it should not be used with an impeller-type washer because those use a lot less water. However,, it sounds like other people had the same reaction regardless of machine type I have already washed our clothes a second time and they still reek of this fragrance. Our laundry room is centrally located and the surrounding rooms also reek. We slept with all of our windows open and could still smell it. Our eyes and nasal passages are burning and we cannot wear anything from this load of clothing. How much water do I have to waste to get rid of this toxic smell? We are not complainers or dramatic people. We always take things in stride and keep things in perspective, but honestly... seriously... this scent is making us feel sick and even panicky because we can't take a breath without inhaling it. It has permeated our home and I am so angry I tried this free sample. What a lot of work, expense, and discomfort it has created for us.

A couple of years ago I purchased a washing machine that dries clothes as well. Because of this feature, the dryer doesn't work the same as a conventional dryer, therefore the machine doesn't get all of the dust and pet hair out of clothes as well as a conventional dryer does. I have several pets and this has been a huge issue. The machine also often leaves the clothes either smelling burnt, or with no smell at all, no matter WHAT detergent softer, etc. that I use. WELL!!! These tide pods have been a god send!!!! My clothes come out smelling so fresh and clean!!!! And, I don't know if it's in my head or not, but I feel like there is MUCH LESS pet hair left behind!!!!! I don't know how they did it, but THANK YOU Tide for solving my laundry issue!!!!!!!!!

I really dislike these new pods. As other reviews say, the smell is too strong! Might have to switch to a different brand and I have been using Tide my whole life.

But I do feel like I wasted my money some.

Going back to the 4in1 oxi pods the smell does not go away. The fragrance is way to strong.

Wow this stuff is awesome. The smell is fresh and soothing and it cleans well too. I do not know what everyone is talking about with the smell. It is fabulous I really hope Tide keeps making it because this is my absolute favorite Tide.

My husband bought this by mistake and I’m sure glad he did! I have looked for a detergent that would stay smelling fresh through the day! This is it! I love the smell! The spring meadow scent is less potent, if that’s your thing! If your looking for something that will have your sheets smelling good all week! Buy this!

Totally agree with a comments made about the strong fragrance that lingers and sticks to your skin. Does not diminish after extra rinse. Not recommended if your are sensitive to smells and strong odors.

Which is a great for our kids. It removes both visible and invisible dirt from our clothes , It also gets deep into the fibers of our clothes to clean hidden dirt we didn’t even know was there.

Takes care of all dirt and food marks. Pod packaging is great reduces the effort of measuring and putting in powder or liquid in the machine. You need an adult hand to open the container. The pods have no scent, which is good, for people with allergies. They still leave my clothes clean. My son gets a rash with the regular Tide, and this one is gentle on him.

I felt that the detergent did a great job on my clothes and everything looked clean. I also have eczema, and this detergent is accepted by the National Eczema association so that makes me think that this is good for my skin too and won't aggravate any skin condtions. The pods are larger than most I've seen, and one does the job. I used it for my work clothes, towels and sheets, and jeans. One time it looked like the "skin" didn't dissolve because I found something that looked like it in the ring around my front load washer. I don't know if it was from the cold water wash or not, because I did several loads before seeing it. I like that there is a child proof lid to keep younger children from opening the container and playing with the pods. If you are looking for an unscented detergent from a brand that works, then this is the detergent for you. I felt my clothes were clean with no artificial scents or colors to aggravate my allergies or skin conditions.

I think the convenience factor is what makes these less economical than regular detergent but I think it balances out. As for this specific version, I am not sure exactly what the product means by "hygienic clean" since I would hope all detergents are hygienic but I guess it kind of makes somewhat sense. I don't normally have heavy duty laundry that needs cleaning so I cannot attest for that aspect of this product but I will say it gets the job done and my clothes seem perfectly clean after using. I do tend to prefer more organic and eco-friendly detergents so I am not sure I would buy this product again but I will say it is very convenient and works just as expected. I sometimes develop an allergic reaction to strong detergents but this one did not seem to have that effect on me possibly because it is unscented. Overall, a solid product for the less eco/health conscious laundry do-ers among us.

I love the convenience of the POD and I have always trusted Tide because their products work. But at the same time I don’t want to compromise on that feeling and smell of fresh clothes and I am give up on cleaning quality and not be able to remove all the dirt from my clothes. These tide pods give me the best of both worlds. They leave my clothes feeling fresh and clean but are also perfume free and hypoallergenic so my sensitive skin is happy as it ever will be. I love using poss because its cleaner and less messier compared to using liquid and measuring the liquid detergent in a cup first. I would totally recommend tide pods but especially these!

Needles to say, being stored in the basement, they smelled mildew'ey. I popped them in the washer along with these pods and was pleasantly surprised that they smelled so clean and fresh. I will add, however, that I did use downy. I add downy to just about all my clothes. However, I will say that downy alone couldn't have taken the strong basement odor off my blankets alone. I was always frustrated that the pouring cap always had leftover detergent in it and always created a messy experience after you re-use the cap. I decided to give this a try. It works really well with cleaning clothes and taking out stains but my son still does have a reaction so if u have a little one or someone with sensitive skin just be aware that it could still cause a reaction. I'd definitely use it for my clothes though.

Oh my gosh, I wish I would have read the reviews about the smell before I used this! I have to air out my home! This is insane. I received this as a free sample from my grocery store and I’m honestly thinking of contact them also about this! It does clean well, but absolutely not worth the smell. The capsule is not large, capsules inside with liquid washing gel. They wash the laundry qualitatively, refresh it and remove all unpleasant odors. The capsules don't leave any fragrance on the clothes, because they are unscented, very suitable for those who don't like the fragrance after washing their clothes. In my mind I imagined them the size of dishwasher tabs, and couldn’t imagine them cleaning a whole load of laundry. I was very impressed upon opening and seeing how big they were! We have an extra capacity washer so I used 2 per load. These were truly unscented and seemed to thoroughly clean then entire load. I don’t have a way to test the “hygienic” claim, but if they truly do, then I’m even more impressed. My sheets and towels were crisp and bright. I'm not sure on invisible dirt but the dirt I could see is gone! It's low sudsing and I could see the water. Do recommend to always keep out of reach from your little ones and put in a safe place because they just look so cool and can be very interesting to a child or pet. Don’t take the chance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Tide Hygienic Clean Power Pods to clean my husband's mill work clothes. They were quite soiled with dirt and greasy grime. I didn't use any pre treatments to see how well this Tide worked alone. It did a fabulous job of getting the clothes clean without any pre treatments or soaking. That will save me time and money. I had one dish cloth that was smelling musty but after washing the odor was gone. The pods are very easy to use, just toss them in the washer drum. No messy measuring required. They can be used in any washing machine. Tide has done a wonderful job of making the pods safer to use. The pods are larger, palm size, so it would be highly unlikely anyone could choke on them. The container has a locking cover that would make it very difficult if not impossible for a child to open to even get the pods. I would recommend Tide Hygienic Clean Power Pods because they do a great job getting the dirtiest laundry clean and they're easy to use.

No irritation, super tough cleaning that removes odors and stain without masking or covering it up....just clean! Easy to use and come in a convenient pack.

Also you do not have to worry about measuring and wasting it. Sometimes the packets dont always dissolve so you have to be sure to follow instructions. Also left my wash soft, Would definately purchase in the futre.

They are also not heavily scented like others. They are just as easy to use and I use less on my laundry but get the same clean clothes.
