I’m a mechanic for a major U.S airline, my work clothes get contaminated with aircraft de-icing fluid, hydraulic fluid, diesel fuel, gas, parts cleaning chemicals, grease, dirt, rust stains, motor oils, transmission fluids, paint, you name it! I also have eczema so I have to be carful with what I expose my skin to such as laundry detergents. This Tide Hygienic Clean Heavy Duty pod gets my daily clothes clean and my filthy work clothes clean every single time and gets rid of all odors WITH OUT BOTHERING MY SKIN!!! This has been the only laundry detergent I’ve used for years

I really like this new Hygienic Clean Tide detergent. It powers through all sorts of stains and rinses clean. I like that it is free and clear and doesn't irritate skin.

We recently bought the Tide 10x pod product. This comes in a white container that closely resembles the container for Tide Free

Started using this because after a sale my standard Tide was sold out. I think it gets my cloths cleaner and the whites are definitely brighter especially the dingy socks! I just wish it did not seem unscented. It’s advertised as having the Tide scent, but for some reason there’s no scent at all. So that’s disappointing I like a fresh and clean smell. It definitely does the job well and gets the dirt out though.

My beef is strictly with the clear measuring cup and the 5 lines that you need a magnifying glass to see. It would be a LOT more helpful if Tide would go back to creating a lid that CLEARLY identifies the lines [let's say blue or red] and just write Small, Med, Large or XLarge signified by the initials. The numbers you currently have do not give a MEANING unless one looks it up. Please return to the old way of doing things [in this regard] that made a whole lot more sense and clarity for EASY usage. Please take ACTION now! Thank you.

I use a different detergent, but used this when my friend moved in because it's what he used. I don't notice the clothes being any cleaner and it doesn't seem to freshen the clothes. I have had to rewas loads of my son's clothes with our normal detergent so they smell free and clean. it's ok but there are more affordable and better smelling detergents for much less. I think it's way overpriced so I'm back to using my normal stuff

My son has horrible seasonal allergies. He takes medication for them, but still sneezes frequently. I can not pretreat every article of clothing that he sneezes on, so I depend upon my detergent to do the heavy lifting. Frequently Tide Hygienic Clean Pods let me down. While folding his "clean" dark colored shirts, I noticed dried, laundered, snot marks, in the middle of his chest, where his nose blew up before he could grab a tissue. I have to rewash the shirt, using warm water, Clorox 2 and baking soda to get the stains out. Really, does it have to be this hard?

Tide keeps my clothes clean and smelling fresh all day long. My husband and I both have dirty jobs so we keep the laundry detergent business hopping. I do love that ride offers multiple sizes so if I need to take a small bottle alone while traveling or have a large bottle for home use. It’s a great value for my money.

PSA for others! I have been using Tide pods for sheets and towels for my household, so I recently decided to try this hygienic clean pod option. For about 10 days I’ve had a very itchy skin rash that has gotten worse. My kids have matching (fortunately smaller) spots, so we’ve been trying to figure it out. This is the culprit. I have re-washed sheets with non-irritating detergent, but my rash has gotten so bad that I just had to get a prednisone prescription to help clear it up. Nothing like this has ever happened, so I want to caution others. It’s crazy that detergent can make your skin this irritated :(.

The bottle does not have any instructions - that would be a helpful addition.

This is a great detergent, it cleans clothes so well. The true test was using it on my husbands sports clothes and to my surprise all the dirt came off with no pre treating. I love that it’s free and clean of any perfume or dyes.

I used these Pods …. Smelled strong but clean. Couldn’t figure out why I was itching so much Last night was the worse, I took a Benadryl to sleep. Figured out had to be the pods. I won’t be buying these again. Any suggestions what I can use? I really love Tide x

I’ve used Tide my entire life. I just switched to the hygenic clean after the tide free with downy was discontinued. I’m pleased with the product itself. No issues with the scent and seems safe for my children’s sensitive skin. The only issue is by the time I get to the bottom of the bottle, there are crystallized chunks that won’t dissolve/come out of the bottom. It’s been an issue with probably 10 out of the last 15 bottles I’ve purchased and for that, I’ll be going back to the regular tide free and gentle.

Please do not change the scent or anything about this product! My favorite tide by far. I work with animals and these get everything clean and the scent is the best, I am reading about people saying the scent lingers, I agree and it's a good thing! People always compliment that we smell clean. Great stuff.

I used this product in a load of laundry over the father's day weekend. This product has left bleach like streaks on an undergarment and my new father's day T shirt my wife bought me. They are now ruined. I knew better that to use such a product. The scent is also very strong and I don't like it.

I have used this on 5 loads but will be retiring it unfortunately. Every load I wash looks clean even with heavy dirt but still smells like wet rags with a hint of chemicals.

After switching to Tide 10X, stains and dirt on my white washcloths and oil stains on my sheets disappeared, and that is amazing since the other detergent didn’t get them clean. I bought the unscented one.

I first got this detergent back in November 2023 and broke out into hives after using. Immediately stopped using it and I still have the same issue brought on by this detergent. I have been to the doctors many different times and they have still been unable to find a solution. It is now May of 2024 and I am still itching as a result of using this product.

For the past month I’ve been getting bumps. I’m thinking bug bites. It’s getting worse and worse. Had exterminator come and look for bed bugs and nothing. This evening I broke out in hives all over and I just did my laundry. I realized we’ve been using this detergent for about a month. Now in reading all these comments about hives and bumps. I’m going to Dr in the morning. I’ve been suffering physically and mentally.

I washed my jeans for the first time in a year from buying them. This detergent has essentially bleached my jeans and completely ruined them. This is so upsetting and I can’t understand how this happened.

I just finished with using a large bottle this product. When the bottle was empty, I noticed a rattle in the bottle. I checked to see what was causing the rattle and discovered a fairly large amount pf crystal like chunks in the bottom of the bottle. I rinsed out the bottle for recycling, but they were large enough that they didn't all come out of the bottle. They also seemed to be resistant to dissolve in hot water. For that reason, I probably not repurchase this type of Tide again, although I did not have any issues with it's ability to clean.

I thought this was going to be an amazing product but uhh... It wasn't really. I used Tide Simply to clean our dog blankets and they came out smelling great. I used this Tide Hygienic and blah the dog blankets just smell like wet dog! This was really disappointing especially being a new user of Tide :(

I was so impressed with how well this pod cleaned my clothes. I never tried these before but my friend gave me one and my clothes were never this clean! I’m going to be buying this product regularly. I thought it was too expensive but by the way it cleaned my clothes, it is well worth the price. I really liked the smell too. I like lots of fragrance that lasts on my clothes so this is a product I will use regularly.

I have been using Tide for months and I only use 2 to 3 TABLESPOONS each load, yes I measure with an actual tablespoon and it’s lifted some old set in stains, super happy. A bottle lasts me awhile.

We've used this for years, but for the last several purchases, it has developed crystals in the bottle. We have had to toss out the last quarter of several bottles, so it is irritating, and a waste of money if not addressed. It seems like we are not the only ones experiencing this, so hopefully it will be addressed soon. However, if this latest bottle does the same, we will have to change products until it is no longer an issue.

Honestly I love this detergent. It smells great and I love only have to use 1 pod for an xl load instead of 2 smaller pods. Laundry smells great and my clothes are always clean. Only downside is that my 16 yr old son has had horrible hives and we couldn’t figure out what it is. Unfortunately it is the detergent. We had to switch him to free and clear detergent, which can be a bit of a cost having to use 2 different laundry detergents.

I have been using this detergent for a while now, but using mid way to the bottom, there are crystals that are forming. I would give this a high rating, but am concerned about the forming crystals. Does this compromise the product? Thank you..l E.M.

Powerful to clean all the dust with just a half of cap. Smell so good long lasting. Come with the 92 fl oz at a good price. Would recommend it to anyone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this detergent for years, but recently have noticed that there are crystals forming in the liquid. This is very strange. I stopped buying it because all the bottles had this weird crystallization even though I went to a few different stores. When I got to the end of the bottle, the liquid was thick and clumpy. Not great quality.

I bought these for the convenience of the packaging and the expected quality I’ve known from the Tide brand. These pods pack too much of a fragrant punch that last long after washing, for some people this might be great but it’s not for me. I’ve washed everything once again without any detergent to make the items wearable. Today I purchased Gain pods to replace these mega strong Tide scent bombs. Now these will sit on my laundry shelf until I’m either desperate or I find a homeless camp or a high school football team that needs their laundry done.

This fragrance free detergent cleans well. This is the Tide Hygienic clean version, of their fragrance free line. I use this for bedding linens because scents make me sneeze. I do notice that this does require more hot water to get everything clean.  I highly recommend this

For someone with sensitive skin, and someone who consistently has issues using regular detergent, this is a great one. It definitely removes stains, has great cleaning power and not any of the weird scents to make you itchy. Great look and will definitely continue purchasing!

This is my go to laundry detergent because it just works perfectly and clothes are always clean and any stains are removed plus any viruses or bacteria I may have encountered on my clothes are as such will be dissolved and cleaned , and love that it still has that nice smell to it , I've bought a ton of this product and keep several packs of these pods on hand, so when I do laundry 🧺 I never run out, Thank you TIDE!!! I have been using tide forever and when I saw the hygienic clean I was like why not. However the soap seems to crystallize in about 30 days or little more. Not sure why.

Since using this product I have now a rotten egg smell in my washer. I used your other regular pods and had no smell.

I’ve recently purchased Tide Hygenic Clean Heavy Duty and both 115 fl oz had crystals in the bottom.

Honestly, I laughed reading some of the reviews because they are funny. For me, when I see 10x hygienic clean, I'm expecting something amazing. This is not it. This detergent is specifically used for my 11 year old son's laundry. The clothes look clean almost like a DIY detergent but lacking the luster of attacking smells especially for socks, underwear, and underarms of shirts. I believe this product would be best on their Simply list. I wanted to return it but I'll store it as back up and try a different Tide. To me, it's important to detergent is delegate to keep the clothes but strong enough to attack those tough places without adding all the extras.

When we switched to Tide Pods, this particular variety has been my go-to because the scent was pleasant. Recently, though, around the time the new packaging was introduced, the scent has a sharper note to it, which is too strong for people sensitive to certain scents. I know this because I still have some of the older pods and compared the two. It's unfortunate that the scent has been changed as I will likely have to find a more suitable detergent because whatever has been added to it is awful.

This is a great detergent. I like it because it is just a clean scent. I use to have a floral detergent but I got an allergic reaction and it would make me so itchy. This is great because it’s gentle on sensitive skin. It removes stains well and my clothes always come out looking and smelling great!

I can’t believe it! I got red pop out of a cream colored new sweatshirt. I thought it was ruined. I threw it in the washing machine and wasn’t expecting the stains to disappear. I took it out of the washer and the stains were gone! Truly an amazing product.

I have never found a detergent that works this good and smells great. Deep stains on my husband work clothes actually come out and I only need to use one cap full. Thank you tide.

The best free and clear option on the market for me. The smell is neutral and the cleaning power is similar to regular Tide. The white bottle helps to identify the free and clear products.

Tide Hygienic Clean Heavy Duty Liquid smells amazing, cleans great and removes stains and odors. Clothes are clean and bright. Tide is the only laundry detergent we use in our household.

With regular Tide clothes from the dryer smell good. With Hygienic Tide clothes from the dryer smell like a wet dog. Cleans well but a fabric softener is needed to mask the scent. First and last bottle for me.

These are by far my favorite thing to wash my clothes in. After washing, my clothes always feel very clean and soft. They are the only pods I have found that actually leave my clothes smelling good and leave a lingering scent without adding scent beads to the load. These pods leave my clothes smelling great for weeks!!

I bought these cause I work for a railroad, nothing seemed to be keeping my clothes clean and smelling fresh. Every load has been 1 pod, came out clean, smelled amazing and dissolved without a problem. Totally recommend.

Tide Power Pods Heavy Duty Cleans clothes, removes stains and odors. I highly recommend this detergent. My daughter plays softball and her uniform gets really dirty this detergent removes stains with a breeze!

My job currently has me around people who don’t seem to do laundry very often, which also makes the chairs I sit in smell bad too. My work clothes smell awful by time I get home. I tried and loved the liquid version of these, so I decided to try the pods…. And the pods work just as well as the liquid. I always have both on hand and use both all the time. Easily the best detergent I’ve tried, and I’ve tried them ALL.

Don't know if I got a mixed up batch, but it smells like the sport scent. It's awful. I like how it cleans and I feel my clothes get clean, but I won't buy again because of the scent. It's too much.

I found out the hard way, when I suffered from a chemical burn from a small amount of detergent didn't wash out of my sports bra. I checked the rest of my laundry from the same load and found more detergent residue. I usually use the sports odor defense and have never had this issue.

Do not hesitate about buying this…just go buy it. You won’t regret it. The smell is amazing but that’s not all…the cleansing power of these pods is unmatched in my opinion. 10/10 hands down the best ever.

Lol idk what’s up with everyone fussing, but first off, if something is shipped to you and arrives leaking or otherwise damaged, that’s not the manufacturer’s fault. That said, we absolutely love these. The scent is amazing and the cleaning power is unmatched. A lot of people hype Persil up, and I’m not saying that Persil is a bad detergent by any means, but in our opinion the hygienic power pods clean much better. Also, Persil literally smells like Megatron’s medicine cabinet or something. If you want actually clean clothes, these will not be beat. As far as price, you get what you pay for. If you want cheap meme detergents, then buy cheap meme detergents and get cheap meme results. If you want clean, get these.

I really like the hygienic clean. It works better with cold water and my clothes smell awesome. I like to change up laundry detergents but I go back to this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received two sample pods with my new washer. I was leery to use these due to the offensive strong smell of the pods right out of the packaging. I washed my clothes and the entire laundry rooms was reeking of what I consider a TOXIC smell. I waited till the next day to see if maybe the smell dissapated BUT NO JUST AS STRONG. I had to re wash the entire load wasting electricity and water. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND this to anyone. If you are so dang dirty that you need 10x the cleaning power then you need to rethink your habits.

I’m not sure how else to explain it. This does not smell like “original” Tide. You should probably stop saying that it does as a selling point. It has this weird vomit smell. Especially when wet. I don’t care what else it does, because it smells like someone barfed then cleaned it up. Anyway, I really do hate to be wasteful, so I’m going to finish the bottle, but man, I can’t WAIT for this stuff to be gone.

Very disappointed. Nothing was clean. Small stains on sheet were still there. My work lab coat, looked the same. Still had “ring around the collar”. Bought this to wash towels, sheets and clothes the day before surgery. Rewahed everything with Persol. This Tide seemed like blue water. Pure garbage.

I just switched over to this product recently after using another popular brand, the results where outstanding my opinion, my cloths are much cleaner. When I use it, I dont examine it, sniff it or anything else all I know is I put the right amount in and it works. I would like to see more coupons available.

After sleeping on the sheets he washed he woke up in hives all over his body. We have used other Tidw detergents with no issues.

I have to use Tide that is “free and clear”. I cannot handle detergents that have a strong smell. That is why I use Tide Free and Clear. My pros and cons are for the product you asked about.

My 92 oz bottle lasts me several months doing 3-4 loads per week. Clothes come out clean and fresh, but not overwhelmingly fragrant. I get a great clean in hot and cold water, and in both HE and traditional machines. The only detergent I use/recommend!

Got these pods as a sample with my new washing machine. Washed sheets and pillowcases and now cannot sleep on them because of the overwhelming fragrance (migraine trigger for me) from the pods. I've rewashed several times with baking soda and vinegar rinses and the odor remains. Any suggestions?

Tide is the only detergent that can help me clean my son’s dirty clothes. Since he is a construction worker, it gets really filthy and with Tide it becomes really clean. I also reccomend Tide because I am a housekeeper and it helps me do their laundry more efficient.

Doctor had her change to tide. Well I'm 40 now and my mom has used nothing else. When I was in my 20s I tried All and cheer. Nothing got my clothes clean. I'm allergic to gain, sun, and cheaper detergents. I began using tide pods probably 10 yrs ago. When they came out with the oxi ones I was wowed a couple yrs ago. I have lots of dogs, a husband and teenager so I I wash big loads. I switched to these because I only have to use 1 and it really gets everything clean. We love them.

This is a great laundry detergent. I love how easy it is use. I just toss one pod in my clothes in the washer and I'm good to go. This product gets my laundry clean and has a good smell that last a long time. The only downfall is sometimes the pod doesn't dissolve all the way and leaves some of it on my clothes. It's easy to fix I just wash it again and it comes right off.

I don’t usually use these. I went to my mom house and she gave me a few, honey when I say the best. My clothes smell wonderful. It literally only took one. I love it and now I’m a customer. I literally stopped my day to do this review that’s how amazed I was

Tide had ruined their detergents and it’s hard to find one that I like now. They discontinued mountain fresh and I decided to try this one and my clothes look grey and dingy. The smell is not good and I hope they can fix this. I think they are using cheaper ingredients and it’s going to cause a lot of loss. If you’re reading this review, trust me it’s the talk of the laundry section at the grocery, I even see people opening and smelling your products with disgust.

The original formula tide is good but this hygenic clean tide is horrible. The smell stays on clothes throughout the day. I ma gagging wearing a t shirt. I wash a blanket and could not sleep because the smell was waking me up. I threw off the blanket so I could sleep. Bad, bad product!! Want my money back.

These pods love up to the heavy duty label. I work as a waiter, and my clothes get stained all the time. These clean my clothes great and have them smelling great

This stuff is thin and watery. Scent retention doesn't last on the clothes after it's out of the dryer. Clothes don't smell clean but they don't smell bad either. Just a neutral smell. This new "hygienic" stuff can't lift stains out of clothes either. Wish they would bring back the original 10x heavy duty detergent. At least that could do the job I paid the money to do and wasn't watered down. I just went through an old drawer full of clothes that I washed and ended up finding a couple pairs of socks that I last used the original 10x heavy duty detergent on and they still smell like the day I took them out of the dryer after washing them with the original 10x heavy duty. The last time they were worn or washed was 2 years ago. And they still smell like the day I last washed them. Whereas my clothes that haven't been washed in the same amount of time and used a different product on them smell stale and old. I don't know why they thought getting rid of the original heavy duty formula and going with this nonsense was a good idea.

Bought another bottle about 3-4 weeks ago. First off I noticed how thin and runny the soap is in this newly purchased bottle compared to what I had purchased in the past. I had a bit left in the current bottle I was using so I poured some from that bottle into a cup and some for this new bottle into another cup. Yep two different totally different liquids. The bottle I just finished is thicker than the bottle I just purchased which is runny.

This removes stains well without harsh smells. It’s fantastic because it doesn’t have a nasty, strong laundry detergent scent. Great for allergic skin

Overall I really am impressed with this new Tide’s ability to remove tough stains. I do miss the old tried and true original Tide scent so maybe Tide can work on infusing the original scent a bit more as this smells very strong like some kind of disinfectant. It worked way better than the original Tide to get out very tough stains. I have an elderly sick cat who requires a lot of help with bedding and towels and the Tide for cold water really didn’t do the job and the original Tide did better but not as well as this new formula. I hope they don’t eliminate entirely the old Tide. I’ve been using that for decades.

I love this product and I use the hygienic clean especially with a messy 8 year old. My question is I recently just bought a new bottle and the detergent is green not blue. Is that new or is there something wrong with the bottle I got?

It doesn’t smell right. Especially on jeans. For a long time I thought my dog was peeing on me when I walk him because that’s kind of what it smells like after you wash certain types of clothing. I finally figured it out. It’s this brand of Tide. If you don’t have a job where your clothes get super dirty I wouldn’t recommend. For the average washing of clothing I would use a different kind of Tide. For something serious this does works great but as a regular everyday laundry detergent I have to go with no.

These are meant for soiled clothes, workout clothes, cheer sneakers etc. They clean these items, killing the oder and germs, you can wash other items with them and are guaranteed that they get clean and everything doesn't smell like sweaty workout gear. If I didn't have a child in sports I'd use another pod for regular laundry that tide makes and keep a small amount on hand for really filthy laundry which these are clearly intended for as they have plenty of variety here so you can choose the pod for your needs

I see a lot of reviews about people having skin reactions. I am grateful to say that my sensitive skin family did not react to it. I am impressed with this detergent. We have a lot going on in my house (cats, sick children, sports, everyday messes). I was sold for sure when my daughter’s white, ketchup stained shirt came out clean (I forgot to pretreat it). Also, possibly tmi, but parents dealing with blowouts will know how hard those stains are to get out. This detergent has helped a lot with those stains, too.

I've been using this for about 6 months. I've only noticed it causing itchy skin once, and actually thought it was from my fabric softener. I have noticed that it does not seem to work any better than other Tide products or other brands. Last month the liquid was blue, and my new bottle I bought 2 days ago is green???? Same scent and everything, so I'm not really sure what's going on.

I have tried multiple laundry pods over the years, and this is by far my absolute favorite!! It tops gain, and it tops every other tide pod on the market. It's very affordable, because the pods here seem to go much further than the other pods. My laundry just feels cleaner with these, I only ever have to use one regardless of the size of the load. It makes cleaning laundry a breeze, and I don't have to worry about my laundry ever being dirty with these!! Highly recommend!

I recently switched from ALL pods to Tide pods! I’ve been using All for years because it’s inexpensive however it never really felt like it got my clothes fully clean and they never smelled fresh! I have sensitive skin and am pretty iffy when it comes to my detergents. Tide pods have left my clothes feel fresh and clean without the skin reaction I normally get. Expensive but worth the price!!

Apparently we aren’t the only family having issues with this new formula. Judging from the number of reviews here with our same experience, something is amiss in this particular version of Tide. We have all experiences an itchy rash and/or hives since I started using this bottle. Steer clear of this.

Really does leave clothes cleaner than other detergents and sanitizes at the same time. Clothes smell amazing and the colors come out more vibrant and doesn't deplete frantic integrity.

Tide Hygienic Clean has been a lifesaving, in more ways than one. While a little more expensive, it gets the clothes feeling cleaning not just smelling clean. It also has cutback on the reactions my wife had to other detergents. I would recommend this product to others!

Love the new detergent. I was so disappointed when they changed the fragrance of Tide with Downey a few years ago. The replacement is so intense it's nauseating. So i tried the Hygienic Clean Free and was really pleased. Removed all the old detergent smells and seems to be getting clothes clean-- but don't have many hard stains to try it out on.

I’ve been using Tide products for decades. Never had a problem with fragrance or detergents, and I have no underlying skin conditions. Within about of week of switching to this formula, I broke out in painful, angry welts all over my chest, and it spread to other parts of my body. After a visit to my doctor because I was a itchy and sore mess, I found out that I had a allergic reaction to the detergent. Switching to Tide Free and Gentle.

I bought several bottles of your new Tide Hygienic Unscented Liquid Detergent and it's HORRIBLE! It left such a strong chemical odor on my clothes

My son came home from school with the worst hives. I almost took him to the emergency room. At the time, I didn't realize, but it was his clothes just washed with this new detergent for the first time. I took him to the doctor and they couldn't figure it out. They tested him for everything, everything was negative. They asked if anything changed including detergent. I said no, as I have used Tide before and none of us have ever reacted to laundry detergent. Then it hit me. This is different and I realized it was this!! As when he got better, when he put clothes on that covered other areas, those exact areas got inflamed with Hives. So now I have 3 bottles I can't use, I have to rewash about 5 loads of laundry, and many doctor bills to pay.

I never realized how much better Tide would be was then what i was using. This gets my clothes super clean and they feel fresh and renewed. Our comforter was soft and fresh. Ive been “rewashing” everything to really get them super clean. I love this product!

I've always used Tide. For the last month, I've been suffering from UNIMAGINABLE itching, flaming, and burning hives. I was even waking up in the middle of the night scratching everywhere. I thought I was seriously ill, taking Benedryl every day. Whole-time it was this Tide! Do not use this kind.

Just switched to 10x liquid Hygienic clean because the 10x pods cannot be found in my area. One complaint I have is the measuring cup is dark blue making it difficult to see the level you are using. Why not use a clear measuring cup ? I know it's not as "pretty" but easier to judge level of detergent being used.

Works wonders. The men in my house are rough on clothes and I have had to throw out so much until this detergent. Now, all the stains are clean and the laundry smells great.

Tide detergents have met my expectations since college days. Bought the Hygenic Clean as it was the only Tide on the shelf and have no issues.Highly recommend it.

Specially when your husband workout and his work make cloth dirty use this and review it and let me know how you like it smell is little stronger like floral and fruity. We’ve always used tide and recently decided to try this scent. I broke out in hives ALL over my body!! My entire body was itchy I had to take medication. Finally we realized it was the detergent after each night I broke out in hives. We changed the bedding to other sheets not washed with this detergent and it stopped.

This Tide may be a good dirt/stain detergent but it does NOT get out odors. Really disappointed with this product.

I am in LOVE with these! I was so upset when Costco stopped carrying it. I wish I would have bought 15 containers of it. The smell was so clean and there was no dingy after smell if you forgot your laundry in the washer for 30 min. Everytime I go out grocery shopping I look for this!

I bought the plastic container of these pods as they work amazing.. With 6-8 pods left and they are stuck together. Tried prying them apart and a couple burst. Not happy!

PLEASE don't stop producing this because some people find the scent to be too strong. There are dozens of tide product lines with less fragrance, this is the only option for those of us who like laundry that stays smelling like tide for weeks on end! I am so worried to wake up tomorrow morning. After washing my clothes I put on some nightmare and my skin has felt prickly ever since. I had to shower and rewashing all of the laundry. Please recall this product. I thought maybe it was just an issue with me until I read other reviews on here with the same issue by others.

My washer overflowed when I use the hygienic clean heavy 10 times duty. They seem bigger than the regular ones and I'm wondering if it's too much for my front end loader soap wise and that's why it overflowed help

When I have stinky clothes, from being out in the heat and humidity of Florida, I use Tide 10X, heavy duty to get them clean. It has a pleasant scent, has value in that you don’t have to throw out soiled clothes that have an unpleasant odor. Also, as the owner of several fixed male cats, all of whom seem to compete to mark territory (ugh), if I find that something has been “marked,” I drop a heavy duty 10 X pod into the washer, add some scent beads, and voila, the soiled items come out smelling fresh and clean-and no more cat scent- it’s wonderful for that alone. In short, you get a lot of detergent at a great price. Cleans dirty work clothes very well, and gives them a nice scent too.

my new go to for laundry. it even gets my husband's work uniforms clean and smelling wonderful! tide for the win!

The smell of Tide Pods is not pleasant. I have to go back to Persil. Persil is so much better in scent and cleaning

Normally, when doing laundry, there is a pleasant smell near the laundry room. First time using the power pods, there was a distinct chemical smell. About 30 minutes after folding laundry, my inner arms started breaking out in hives….horrible itching. I thought maybe the cat had gotten into poison ivy and took a shower. Then narrowed it down to the Tide Pods and looked it up. Sure enough, apparently a lot of people are having reactions. It’s 4:30am and I’ve had a long and scary night. I’m done with Tide pods.

Ok I know I have a fussy dog but this is the only detergent I can use on her fuzzy blanket! She adores the scent and once it wears off will not sleep on her blanket till I wash it again with these Tide original scent hygienic clean pods. Scent hound dog approved and their noses are way more sensitive than ours. Way to go Tide.

I hate the smell. I have the washing machine unit in my bedroom and when I used this pod the whole room smelled of tide. It also stays in clothes after wash. I just hate it. I wish I had bought the tide 3 in 1 pods. They don't smell this bad.

I love how this product cleans my clothes! I also use it with conditioner, sanitizer, stain remover, bleach, liquid brightener, and scent booster. It works well to clean and sanitize my clothes and I love it. Even when I use this on its own it works great! I snuggle with blankets washed with these pods knowing they are clean. Your cold call ads are clever !! I like how you can make people buy your product, and y'all succeeded with me. I love this product and will never stop using it.

This product probably did the job, but I can't get past the very heavy perfume. I gave my load an extra rinse and that didn't help, so it's in the washer for a full second wash with unscented detergent. I hope that does the job.

Received a free sample. Unfortunately the smell was so overpowering that I could not even wear the clothes after washing. I developed severe migraines and could hardly breathe. I have washed the clothes an additional 10 times using unscented soap and vinegar in hot water. The smell is still stuck on some of the clothes and I have had to throw my clothes in the garbage because the smell makes me so sick. I really wish that I never received this sample, and I wish even more that I hadn’t washed all my favourite clothes with it. I cannot understand why such a product even exists.

I have a family of all boys and all either play sports or work dirty jobs. And this new Tide is amazing!!! I love it! Deep clean! Smells good! And it gets the stains out!! No more pre wash for majority of stains! I love it!

I tried this product from a free sample given out from my grocery store. I found it able to clean some heavy stains on my towels and clothing. I enjoy the fresh smell but in a world of facilities, offices and places of business that require a scent free environment this is overpowering. I will use the rest of the sample for my linens and towels but not my clothing.

I love this detergent make my colors brighter and my whites whiter, it's 10x heavy duty, removed visible and invisible dirt.

It not only removes visible and invisible dirt but it removes all the nasty smells other detergents cannot get to! The scented ones work just as well as this one but this one is for people with sensitive skin and/or allergies. I love this product and can't think of anything else to use on all of my husband's work clothes and my sports cloths... really anything I'm going to sweat and stink in, this is the detergent I use to make sure my clothes are clean even in areas that aren't visible to the naked eye. I highly highly recommend this clothes washing detergent! My clothes have never looked so clean!

Washed the curtains in all rooms. They came out beautifully. Stripped all beds and they smell wonderful.

I love love love the smell! I like my laundry to smell clean and this does the job! I think its great for people who have children, teens and pets. All three come with smells and this does a great job of cleaning those smells out of family laundry.

Used this product for the first time and the scent is overpowering. I can smell it still through my place even after 7 hours. I hung some clothes outside and as I got closer to the garments, I could smell the pods. Hopefully will not have an allergic reaction. It would be great to purchase an unscented pod or one that has been greatly reduced in smell.

I had wanted to try Tide Pods for the longest time and today I got lucky. My grocery store was giving them out to the first 100 customers. I did my first load and hot dang the smell of these little pods is so overwhelming. I'm glad I received a sample pack to try before purchasing a whole tub. If you like very strong smells then I would recommend. Way too strong for me although our clothes seems pretty soft although it didn't get out stains very well. Nothing compares to tide original!

For a decade I have been using tide pods. Over the last 2 weeks I noticed staining on my clothes. I didn’t think it was the pods as this had never happened before. I did a load and stopped midway to find the tide pod with the stain on the clothes. Not happy . They damaged several important items☹️

I am actually relieved to see so many reviews about the smell because I’ve never felt so strongly about anything in my life. My apartment wreaks and all day I walk around feeling nauseated because of the strong smell on my clothes. I leave my house and come home to the smell filling our apartment. I have trouble sleeping because of the strong smell. Bought a large box from Costco and gave all of them away. Even called the recipient to warn them. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

The fragrance of Tide Pods (in any variety) is so overpowering. I wish they smelled like the liquid detergent, and I wish they had the same lever of fragrance as the liquid detergent! I want to switch to gain pods because they smell a little better, but the reviews aren't as good. But my boyfriend cannot stand the smell of tide pods, and to be honest, neither can I. :'( Pleeease reduce the amount of fragrance used, and also consider making them smell the same as the liquid detergent, which smells amazing!

I got this product as a sample in a grocery pickup order. I did a load of white t-shirts and dish towels. They came out super clean and white! I normally use fragrance-free detergent, but I found the scent of this product to be generally pleasant.

Love this Tide Hygienic Clean liquid! The white bottle has no scent, which is perfect for our clothes. I saved at least 5 minutes per load because I don’t need to separately pre-treat the shirts for underarm odor. Also meaning, I now save money on all those extra sprays and additives. It even worked to start removing an old stain. Also, seemed to remove recent sour smell from our towels. My new, go-to laundry product! Thank you, Tide!

A couple of years ago I purchased a washing machine that dries clothes as well. Because of this feature, the dryer doesn't work the same as a conventional dryer, therefore the machine doesn't get all of the dust and pet hair out of clothes as well as a conventional dryer does. I have several pets and this has been a huge issue. The machine also often leaves the clothes either smelling burnt, or with no smell at all, no matter WHAT detergent softer, etc. that I use. WELL!!! These tide pods have been a god send!!!! My clothes come out smelling so fresh and clean!!!! And, I don't know if it's in my head or not, but I feel like there is MUCH LESS pet hair left behind!!!!! I don't know how they did it, but THANK YOU Tide for solving my laundry issue!!!!!!!!!

Used first time on a carseat cover that had urine and vomit on it. It also had never been washed thru two children. It came out looking brand new! Next, I tried it on white t=shirts and white socks. They came out almost blindingly bright and clean. I am pleased and look forward to. using on other loads.

We have used original HE Tide for years. Saw a commercial and decided to give this new one a try. After using it for one week... I noticed my skin was itchy, red and irritated in some areas. I am going back to the regular Tide.

I usually use another brand but wanted to try something different and I’m so glad I bought this. I’m fascinated watching the water drain because with all the dirt and grime coming out of my clothes. I also like that there is no fragrance. Tide for the win! You won’t be disappointed!

Regarding my initial review of this product leaving heavy weight laundry with a vomit, wet dog scent...the scent is not noticable when the laundry is coming straight from the washer. The awful smell is not released until it is mixed with the heat from the dryer. Your reply suggest it's coming from my washing machine. I have to strongly disagree. I initially thought the same. Considering I was washing laundry at the laundromat. However, I purchased a Brand New Traditional (Non HE) washer and dryer set. The results are still the same! I recommend your "Testing Team" to actually wash a load of jeans with this detergent, put them in the dryer and smell the jeans while they are still damp. I also Don't have Any pets for my laundry to smell like wet dog either.

I don't know why people complain about the smell... It smells amazing, and it cleans far better than the original pods.

Started using this toward the middle of the pandemic and it does a great job at cleaning clothes. Smells great, provides a nice suds. I’m in NYC and do my laundry at a laundromat. I usually do the third mark when filling the cap and it does the trick.

We have been using regular tide and my husband came home with this new giant 86 load container. He has a medical condition that esasterbated the situation, he has full body hives and is itchy and scabed everywhere. It has been a terrible experience and we are going back to our regular plain tide.

I have been using Tide products since I was young. Switching from the powder and liquid to the pods was the best thing. Then when I saw these new pods I was excited. I couldn't wait to do a new load of laundry. Unfortunately I was disappointed in these new pods. The pods didn't break completely and and left a mess. I had to rewash that load two more times just for it wash away. Then I thought maybe the water temperature is what caused it not dissolve fully. First load was with hot water. So I tried again with another load in cold water. Same thing happened but this time I only had to rewash the clothes one more time. So I'm switching back to the small pods, where I know everything will wash correctly. But will say after the multiple washes the clothes did smell great still. But I do feel like I wasted my money some.

Going back to the 4in1 oxi pods the smell does not go away. The fragrance is way to strong.

Wow this stuff is awesome. The smell is fresh and soothing and it cleans well too. I do not know what everyone is talking about with the smell. It is fabulous I really hope Tide keeps making it because this is my absolute favorite Tide.

I have also used this to soak and strip clothing and it worked amazingly well. This is the only detergent I will use on workout clothing since it gets out the smells and sweat so well. I tried Tide Hygienic Clean on an impulse. WOW! I will never use anything else to clean my family’s clothes. I have 3 children with many special needs, so keeping clothes clean and stain free and smelling good had always been a challenge until I tried this product. Tried Tide hygienic 10x for the first time today! My sheets and blankets were cleaner than ever before! I am sensitive to certain scents but I thought it was very pleasant. I am happy with Tide and I am sticking with it!!!

My husband bought this by mistake and I’m sure glad he did! I have looked for a detergent that would stay smelling fresh through the day! This is it! I love the smell! The spring meadow scent is less potent, if that’s your thing! If your looking for something that will have your sheets smelling good all week! Buy this!

Totally agree with a comments made about the strong fragrance that lingers and sticks to your skin. Does not diminish after extra rinse. Not recommended if your are sensitive to smells and strong odors.

I like that it is a 92 ounce container as well, because it lasts a lot longer. You don't have to use a ton of the detergent for each load of laundry either, so that makes it last even longer. One of the best things about this detergent, is that it is unscented and good for sensitive skin. My kids have sensitive skin so we have to use the unscented kind for their clothes. So far, this hasn't caused any skin problems which is really nice. The other nice thing about this detergent, is that it is 10x better at getting out dirt and stains from your clothes. It goes deep into the fibers to get out invisible dirt as well. It just makes us feel cleaner when we use it. All in all, this is a really good laundry detergent and I highly recommend it. My skin gets so dry and itchy and the fragrance just irritates it more. This tide laundry soap. Is fragrance free and still gets your clothes clean. They don’t stink they smell like fresh linen without the perfumy smell. I also noticed my clothes seem brighter. Definitely going to make this my go to laundry soap especially in the colder months.

Tide typically has a good cleaning reputation so I switched back when I wasn't satisfied with the other product I was using. I am always leery of scented products but I couldn't find the regular unscented pods and was desperate so I decided to give it a try. It smells horrible! How it could get past you're product testers, I don't know. Maybe you should get actual consumers to test your new products. Please make your unscented products easier to find!

I am an avid gym-goer and feel like I can never really get the funk, sweat, and dirt completely out of my workout clothes. They always still feel a little rough and still don't smell fresh. That is, until I tried this! Even though it is unscented, I feel like it makes my clothes smell better than something heavily scented that masks the smell, yet it's still there. Won’t purchase again, went back to Persil. During the time I used this detergent (around a month) I HAD to run my washers self clean cycle several times...this hasn’t ever happened using my go to Persil. This detergent left a funky smell in my washer and on clothing multiple times. I clean my machine monthly normally but using this and I cleaned it over and over! Stopped using the detergent after I realized it may be the culprit and sure enough, not one issue since. I typically like Tide, just not this one.
