Tide Plus Febreze Freshness Liquid Laundry Detergent

This scent is everywhere. Between the toxic fragrance plus the additional Febreeze, this smell lingers everywhere. Neurotoxins. I can't believe how many people use this. It's horrible. Please stop making it.

I have used Tide for over 20 years. My preference currently is the Tide with Febreeze lavendar. My clothes clothes always come out clean and smelling fresh. If you haven't tried Tide w Febreeze, I highly recommend you give it a try with you next wash.

I may just have every single scent that Tide has made lol. I love it that much! Tide really gets your laundry clean! It gets the tough stains out! You really don't even need a fabric softener because Tide leaves them soft out of the dryer. I would definitely recommend it and will absolutely but it again!

This is what I use for l our clothes when we have been out on the sun and have a lot of dirt and sweat on them and it does the job great. Gets everything out all the stains and smells.

The sport odor defense is my absolute favorite laundry detergent. I’ve bought this for about two years ago simply because of how well it works. I work 10-12 hours a day and so does my boyfriend (but he works outside) and it leaves no trace of odor on your clothes.

I have tried so many other liquids but stuck at this one. I like it because my clothes feel fresh after washing and smells great. It is a little thick liquid which I like it, not see through type because if its see through that means clothes need more liquid. Nice price though. I wash whites as well with this only. If you want your clothes to smell nice then go for it. I would recommend this to anyone.

Have always used tide but when I have used tide plus febreze it was just amazing. Same good ole product but with a intense smell works well for my work cloths.

This is probably my favorite of the tide scents. Definitely smells great and you can still smell it Lightly in the clean clothes. It is affordable and worth the price. It definitely gets my clothes clean even when they are super dirty from outside elements.

Love tide! Grew up on it because I had sensitive skin and always broke out in rashes whenever anything else was used on my laundry. Now I have tried different brands but the babies get the dreft an me an hubby use the tide. Super dependable always smells amazing and they have so many different scents now an they even have a tide free and clear so if I run out of dreft for the babies I can use that without feeling too bad!

Let’s face a teenager stink this is the only soap that curbs her smell. The good thing about the soap is you actually do you pay more per bottle versus a bargain brand but you use so much less so it is a win-win in this household.

My absolute favorite ! This is the best detergent I have found in my whole life. I'll let you in on a secret too, I worked at a drycleaners years ago and in a class they offered the employees we had learned they swore by tide and tide only ! I go to the gym every day and my clothes get really gross. I bought this in hopes that it would help that and overall I have been happy with the results. This detergent runs you the same price as other forms of Tide and I think it is worth it. This product has a light pleasant scent. 

Tide has been a household name for decades and my family has been purchasing for a long time. However I have used it and compared it to Arm & Hammer which I fee gets our workout clothes much cleaner. Still a good detergent but I don’t buy myself anymore.

I use only Tide and one other brand. I have tried many brands but seem to always come back to these. I like using liquid versus powder or pods. This detergent continues to make the clothes smell nice after washed and dried even if I start the washer before I leave fore work and add them to the dryer once I get home.

Never had a skin issue with Tide products until I purchased this by mistake and used it. Have horrible itchy hives as a result. Throwing it out and re-washing sheets towels and clothes. With all the ingredients going to Tide with no scents and for sensitive skin.

Tide was a product I've been around most of my life as my father had skin issues. So as I got older it just kind of become a staple in my laundry. The spring renewal has a lovely fresh floral scent and cleans the clothing well no matter what temperature settings it's on. It's another fine product from tide. Reccomend you try.

I love the aroma of your detergents and the best thing to do is take care of the colors of my clothes, my clothes, you know how to use soft tissue since it includes fabric softener and it is enough for more washes than other detergents.

I have recently switch to tide cuz I've noticed that the other brands that I used were a lot more water than detergent I could tell in the thickness however I wish I can get my clothes smell better even though I use tide I have a brand new washer that holds the whole bottle of time and this purse is it so it could be the washer and not the actual detergent but that would be my only complaint it gets out a lot of things maybe not all of them but just do the job

I've been using Tide April fresh for years, and suddenly with no warning or indication on the packaging, the scent has changed! Way too strong now. Doesn't smell good.

Awful scent! Smells like flowery men’s deodorant. SO STRONG! I’ve used this detergent for years, as did my parents. Makes me sad that my little one will never know the cozy smell it used to have.

Not only do clothes come out clean and soft, but it also leaves on a great smell for days. It makes doing laundry much easier, I will definitely continue to use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What would I want to know before I get this product is will it agitate my skin or allergies & is the scent long lasting! I think this is amazing. I usually stick with what I know & it's kind of hard to change my mind on anything. But when I used Tide over what I normally use I've decided to change. Tide is what I use now for all my washing needs. It gets out everything & the smell last for weeks! That was major for me was the smell because I have allergies & this caused no issues what so ever for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a single woman that lives by herself so my laundry isn't terribly dirty the way my sister's household laundry does (she has 3 kids and a husband that plays in a town softball league). So when I chose launty detergent, I honestly just usually chose my detergent based on two things; the smell and the price since I don't need anything that is particularly tough on stains. With that being said, when I used the Tide Plus Febreeze when I washed my king sized bedroom sheets 3 days ago, there weren't any stains for the detergent to remove, however, the detergent made my sheets feel and smell incrediby fresh! The detergent has the freshness of Febreeze and the scent was Botanical Rain which smells amazing. I would best describe it as a mix between a linen fresh scent and a woodsy, clean outdoors scent mixed together. It has been 3 days since I washed my sheets and they still smell great. I'm not sure if this Tide helps fight color fading either and I couldn't tell first hand since I've only washed the sheets with the Tide once so far but I'm sure I'll be able to determine if it prevents color fading in the future after I've washed the sheets a few times. I dry my sheets in the dryer because I think they smell the best and feel the softest after being dried in the dryer as opposed to being hung outside to dry. After I took my sheets out of the dryer, they were fluffy and soft and smelt great! I can't talk enough about how great they smell and how long the great smell lasts for (as opposed to some cheaper detergents that I have used and the scent fades a day or less after washing). All in all, I love the scent of this Tide Plus Febreeze Botanical Rain detergent that I am going to switch from my normal grocery store brand detergent to this brand because after trying it, I'm not sure how I could be expected to go back to my run of the mill store brand detergent anymore.

My line-dried clothes dried with the scent of Downy but not even a touch of softness. A one step solution for Downy April Fresh Scent without the dryer. I would buy Tide Plus a Touch of Downy HE Liquid April Fresh scent again, as long as the price was not more than Tide and I didn't need soft clothes.

Tide Plus a Touch of Downy HE Liquid was so easy to use and the results well are amazing it smells amazing. My blankets feel and look new after washing it's just amazingness all over. I need to wash my whole house now.

At first, I was skeptical about the cleaning power of Tide plus Downy detergent...but let me be the first to say, the detergent and fabric softener days are over. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been a fan of Tide - it simply cleans your clothes. No fuss, no muss, it's done with Tide. I normally buy the scent and dye free, though, so trying Tide Plus a Touch of Downy HE Liquid was new for me. I am now on my second HE washing machine - the HE machines do not seem to last as long as the old models, and, let's be frank, HE machines can leave an odor in your clothes. Well, using Tide Plus a Touch of Downy HE Liquid ends up being aromatherapy for your clothes, your towels and your closets! Now, I am not a fan of scented detergents, and sometimes the scent can be overwhelming (so that's why I gave 4 stars), but the Tide clean is still there, and it does hide those awful, musty HE odors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this four stars because like most Tide, it’s a very good detergent. One star is off because I didn’t find the Downy noticeable. I use actual Downy when I want to soften my laundry, and the separate softener softens better than the detergent softener combo. The smell was stronger than regular Tide but not overwhelming, and not unpleasant. And since it’s Tide, your clothes will be clean. But if you prefer minimal scent on your clothes you will want to skip this.

With the added Downy softener my clothes come out of the dryer so soft. I have two kids and they both play baseball and this detergent gets out all their dirt stains from sliding into home base. I love that you only need to use a small amount for a full load and everything comes out clean and fresh. I also love the way my sheets smell. It’s the perfect detergent for washing sheets and towels. I’ll definitely be buying Tide with a touch of Downy laundry detergent again.

I love Tide and its products and this is definitely one of its best products so far. I used it on my towels and the fresh clean smell lasted much longer than other detergents I have used.

The softness of the clothes was very surprising! I just wanted to jump on my pile of laundry! Then I noticed the stains... so many stains! They weren’t only small stains, some of my clothes looked as though I hadn’t washed them at all. I was so disappointed. I had to go back and wash them all again using my usual preferred brand of laundry detergent. I would definitely buy the downy on its own but this Tide with Downy was a FAIL in my opinion. I just wasted my Saturday. I think the entire idea was to save time.... it did not. I know it smells great but it isn’t worth it in the end.

I’ve always loved the smell of other people’s clothes and was envious that they could use scented detergents. I was so nervous I would break out in hives or a rash but I have been using it for a few weeks now and my clothes smell amazing and my skin has no issues with it.

However, the stuff has such a strong smell that it makes my nose tingle! And the smell isn't even that good. I mean, April definitely does not smell like that around here.... it's too musky and strong. I walk around like I'm wearing my grandma's perfume. I still can't get the scent out of my washing machine! I generally like Tide detergent, simply because it gets the job done, but they could use more clean and earth friendly ingredients and perfumes.

My chothes were dirty, sweaty, and just plain gross. Tide Plus A Touch Of Downy April Fresh HE Turbo Clean Laundry Detergent not only got my clothes looking like new but also smelling great and super soft.

However, I must admit that I completely stopped using liquids, once Tide Pods became available. Due to some relatively new hiccups with Tide pods - they're not properly dissolving anymore in the washer - I have been at my wit's end. Laundry had become more of a costly chore than before in addition to becoming a massive headache. I've always enjoyed doing laundry until the pods' fiasco, which I'm sure their initial components were changed, since children and teenagers were eating them. Nevertheless, this Tide HE liquid with Downy couldn't have came at a better time. I love the scent. It takes only a small amount to properly cleanse a full, dirty load of laundry. I have kids, like most, that play in dirt and mud. They spill food and drink constantly on their clothes among other things. I am definitely the right person to test this product. At first I didn't read the directions and added a cup (the lid) of washing detergent to my HE washer. I won't lie. I had to rinse that first load 2 times to remove all the suds. Lol, it was a mess. Almost like a scene from a movie. READ THE DIRECTIONS! Hahaha After reading the directions, especially the correct amount to use of this highly concentrated liquid detergent, I began my second load of dirty clothes. No extra suds this time. Lol I must admit, I was quite shocked at the job this small amount of detergent did for this particular load of laundry, which contained soiled training pants and underwear of my toddler, who is potty training. Again, this extremely small amount of concentrated product by Tide had actually removed all stains and bad smells from my toddler's undergarments and a few pairs of shorts and pajamas. After inspecting each piece of laundried clothing prior to placing the full load into dryer, I did not have to rewash nor resoak any of the filthiest undergarments. The entire load was cleaned perfectly and smelled like Downy fabric sheets. Awww yes, that Downy smell. I probably could've waived adding a few dryer sheets to this load, but I didn't want to chance this particular load I'm the dryer. Static cling on undergarments isn't a nice feeling at any age. Yet, the next load I washed and dried, which contained his soiled linens, came out clean as a whistle and smelling wonderfully. This is where I decided to take a chance and forget about adding any dryer sheets. Let me just say this, this formula of Tide with Downy for HE machines is absolutely worth every cent. The dirtiest of clothes...the heaviest of soiled linens and undergarments...the regular wear and spills/stains...all come out clean, stain free, smelling great, and super soft. Due to the truly concentrated liquid product of Tide's HE laundry detergent in liquid form with the Downy additive, a little goes a long way. One bottle will absolutely wash exactly the amount of clothes depicted on the bottle, like 32 loads, 64 loads or 80 loads. Additional dryer sheets are truly optional, although I would add one or two to sweaters or knit garments. FINALLY, a liquid detergent that actually does what it claims to do. The reduced costs are reasons enough to switch to Tide's HE liquid detergent with Downy. Make sure to follow the instructions for the correct amount of concentrate to use per load. When drying, use dryer sheets on your own accord, because they are not necessary for each load. Yes, I know "I've got to be kidding", however, I'm not. I will and I have been recommending this product to everyone. Clean clothes for a fraction of your usual costs is absolutely fabulous. The Con: This product does not mean that some presoaks or stain removers aren't necessary. We all know that certain elements have to be treated differently prior to washing. I didn't have grass stains, blood, nor any other stainable items to clean. The Pro: I did have washable paint, soiled clothing and linens that I rinsed off prior to washing. One wash without any soaking nor pretreatment properly cleansed these garments to which I previously described. That in itself is a great fete. HE Tide with Downy seriously rocks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Tide Downy Laundry Soap worked well. My clothes came out nice and soft and the scent was pleasant. However, the scent was slightly strong in my opinion, as I have sensitive skin and prefer lighter to no scent at all. I would use this laundry soap again but I don't think it would be my first pick when buying soaps only because of the scent. Otherwise, it does its main job well which is cleaning my clothes and bringing them out soft.
