How to Remove Collar/Cuff Soil Stains
That shirt might look snazzy and smart, but once it comes off after a long day at work the marks on the collar and cuffs are not so elegant.
Don’t despair, Tide can help you get rid of collar/cuff stains in a few simple steps so you can look your professional best.
How to Remove Collar/Cuff Soil Stains in 6 Steps
Rinse in cold water to dilute the stain.
Pour and Pre-treat:
Pour Tide Coldwater Clean Liquid directly onto the stain. Make sure you completely cover it and let set for 5 minutes. Pour from either the bottle or the cap.
You can also use the cap to ensure you use the right amount of detergent. Just fill it with the correct dose of Tide laundry detergent, and pour it into the laundry detergent dispenser if you have an HE washing machine, or directly into the drum before loading the clothes if you have a non-HE washing machine.
Without rinsing off the laundry detergent, place the garment into the washer with other items. Leaving the laundry detergent on the stain will give your wash that extra boost of cleaning power.
When the cycle is complete, unload the garments immediately.
If the stain persists after washing, repeat the previous steps before tossing in the dryer, as drying will set the stain.
