Tide Simply All in One Liquid Laundry Detergent Refreshing Breeze

Is this supposed to be the "new thing" in detergent? It's marbelized in the most unappealing colors. If it's "clean" then where is the color coming from? This is the Refreshing Breeze variety. Normally Tide is so reliable. Maybe something went wrong. Is it safe to use or has it 'gone off'?

I have used this product many times. But the last two bottles I have the liquid is gross looking and does not smell right. I have been trying to research this. Should it be thrown away?

this product is usually blue. when I opened it, it had turned a dark green/brown color. After several weeks it smells foul and has particles in it. I did not know that laundry soap could spoil! I'll be returning where I bought it

I use this product all the time and this is the first time I have ever had this experience of the liquid being a greenish color. It terrified me. I am on a budget this week and purchase a small bottle for my family clothes and poured this all into my clothes. I DO NOT have extra money to go buy another bottle because I’m afraid of what it may do to our skin, especially in our undergarments . I am at the laundromat too, so I can’t afford to rewatch them in just water. This is a bad experience that makes me consider using a different brand. Fresh liquid from durable packaging. Clothes are clean and colors are bright after washing even in cold water. Affordable sometimes. To be perfect must make it cruelty free.

Brand new and came out brown green. The bubbles were even strange. I have never seen anything like it with any other laundry detergent. Money lost because it went in the garbage.

Love this line of products. The only thing I’m not loving is the scent. I wish they would add a lavender scent with the oxi. The product does as described

I bought Tide Simply OXI (74 loads) and I was so put off by the gross green/sci fy swamp looking color that after a few washes I determined it cannot be intentionally that gross looking. I looked on line and saw people say they had the same issue and Tide tries to claim it was exposed to light…… Others say it has mold in it. Whatever the reason, it’s disgusting.

I poured some to wash a load of clothes and it was brown green with dark brown residue in it. It was disgusting I put some in a clear cup and the garage sink to make sure I was seeing the true color too. I grabbed my wife and she agreed it was bad. I poured the remainder of the bottle down the garage sink to get rid of the gross detergent. I have never seen anything so nasty I had to wash my clothes a 2nd time to get this crap out of my clothes with a different detergent.

Another purchaser who found the detergent to be brown, sludgy, and with a bad smell. It still seems to clean, but the smell is off-putting.

I really like this laundry detergent it works really well at cleaning my laundry it gets the stains out really well I love this has Oxi stain fighter in it everything smells so good when it comes out of the washing machine and the scent lasts in the clothing for awhile I love the packaging it comes in a variety of sizes and scent options and the handle makes it easier to hold it's affordable and worth the money I would definitely buy this again and again

A good detergent has a pleasant smell not sharp. It is very convenient that there is a lid and you can measure the right amount. Removes stains but if very strong, it is better to use pre-soaking. Your clothes will be fresh, clean and with a pleasant light aroma.

My clothes always come out looking great when I wash them with this. It has a refreshing breeze scent. It powers away dirt and grime, leaving my clothes clean and fresh. It is a good value. The small bottles wash up to 20 loads.

This is a great product I use it all the time the bottle makes it easy to pour and measure the right amount it has a nice scent and it makes your clothes smell nice and cleans them perfectly and removes any stains flawlessly its a perfect laundry detergent for any household i would definitely recommend

Purchased this just now, and get home to find out it is brown. Unless Tide left it in the sun, it’s another reason it’s brown. My wife was very upset on spending retail price and get told to put it aside and buy more???? Really, just go buy some more brown goo. Tide, you should do better.

Whenever I do laundry my first choice is Tide. I love them. They smells great. Tide Simply OXI Liquid is really good at cleaning. It’s really clean my clothes very well. It’s remove stains from clothes pretty good. It’s pretty affordable too .

I came to this website to find out if there is a fabric softener sheet that’s recommended with this detergent. I am really surprised to see so many issues people have had with this. Are you kidding me? Dozens of people telling you that the smell is awful and that the liquid is brown and you're blaming it on sunlight in a plastic bottle where no light can get in? Seriously! Do not buy do not use do not pass go do not collect 200.

I bought this at night, took it home and it was brown/sludgy (definitely did not get any sunlight on my watch like Tide is trying to say) It’s very concerning that ALL the reviews are the same, yet you are telling us it’s due to “direct sunlight” 🤔 Horrible product! Best to wash and remove stains while being gentle on fabric and colors. Truly keeps whites at their whitest and I can get plenty of loads with the 31 fl oz bottle! The scent is refreshing and clean. Economically priced so no need to sacrifice my clothes with less expensive detergents.

Opened a new container that I purchased within the last six months. The liquid is greenish brown with stringy chunks.

Cleaning power- good, colored mostly . Scent- standard Packaging- simple, value for money- 👍. Stain removal- cant take out much if its blood. You still have to double clean stains.

Refreshing Breeze smells so strong and to me it smells like poison. My clothes have such a strong odour from it and I can barely breathe this in without feeling sick. I feel like this scent is poisoning me. What happened to the good old original Tide scent? Why make this toxic scent? It’s disgusting, and I will never buy it again.

I am 34 years old and I purchased this thinking to give it a try from my usual detergent. When I picked up the bottle, it said 20 loads but the feeling of picking up almost half bottle made me hesitant to buy it. I anyways purchased it and It didnt last for more than 12 loads when it says 20 loads on the bottle. The bottle was almost half emtpy, didnt give me what was promised (20 loads of wash) and I hate when detergent brands do this. DO NOT LIE on the bottle and say its almost a litre when its 3/4 full. I also filled the bottle with water after I had finished all the detergent to test if it could actually hold enough amount for 20 loads of wash. I was right, it didnt. it was merely 11 loads worth of detergent in there.

I love tide but this one is awful! I am not sure if they are boxing up old product and trying to sell it but after only a month or two it turned brown and smells awful! When I first bought it looked normal but after a few washes it has complete changed color and smell. Tide you need to fix the formula or do a better quality check on your products.

I opened the bottle and it was a brownish green color but that was not until after I had already poured it into my washing machine tray I have a load of white clothes in there I am hoping that I can get this out of the tray and not discolor or get in my washing machine and not be able to get out

This is the 3rd bottle of Tide Oxi that I have purchased that has turned from a clean blue color to a murky greenish/brownish disgusting color. As you can see I have stayed with this brand hoping that maybe it was caused by some condition in my laundry room such as temperature or moisture change. I see numerous reviews with the same issue but what I don't see is a solution offered by your Tide team. I plan to stop purchasing this brand of Tide until I am assured that this problem has been addressed.

we purchased three bottles at the same time of the same detergent. The first one was fine. The second one went opened. It was brown, sludgy looking at first I thought it was motor oil the brown had slightly separated from some kind of oily base… what the heck and all my 60 years I’ve never seen such a thing occur. I was afraid that someone had filled it with a different liquid outside of the plant but no I’m hearing that this is happening from other people too! Can you please explain?

This product is a ripoff. I tried it on my whites only and then on my light clothes. Poured out blue color and ended up with gray dingy whites and my light colors look dirty. Two weeks later, I poured some out into the cap and it was a disgusting muddy gray color. Now I know why my towels and clothes looked like they did. Hopefully after a few more washings without Tide Simply Oxi, my clothes and towels will brighten up.

This detergent is horrible! It's no better than extra and double the price! It didn't remove any stains even pretreated ones the detergent is thin and takes twice the amount to half way clean clothes. Clothes do not smell fresh and clean. I tried this once but never again I will stick to using Persil its never done me wrong. There are absolutely no pros to this product

I just cracked a new bottle of the oxi and, it looks similar to dirty motor oil. The blue to green color change I dont mind but this looks questionable.

I bought the Tide Simply OXI detergent. I opened it and saw that it has turned a nasty brown color which looks like burnt grease or vehicle oil. The smell is sour and I’m not to sure about using it to clean my clothes. I wouldn’t want to ruin my nice work clothes and my family’s clothes. I babysit my 4yo nephew often and he's a dirt/dust magnet. This detergent cleans off stains and odors very effectively. The scent after washing is not overpowering. His clothes are also quite colorful but using this product allows them to retain their vibrancy longer in comparison to other brands. Great value and often in stock in mass retailers.

This is not the first review stating the detergent turned brown, so you have a quality issue. It was quite disgusting and had a smell of it being bad mixed in with the breeze smell. I have dumped a smaller bottle before and just dumped more than half of a big jug. Literally money down the drain.

I love tide ive been using tide for years and its the only brand i trust and know that works. A little of this goes a long way so bottle lasts longer then others. It gets stains out and has a nice scent. I highly recommend!

My detergent has changed color and smell. It’s been kept closed, dry and in a normal temperature hallway closet as always but it turned green. Since I’m using a public laundry I had to run the load as is since it was already in the drum and am now worried about how my clothes will turn out.

While this product was great to begin with after using half the bottle the color of the detergent has now changed color from the blue color to now becoming a grey green and cloudy. The smell is now not refreshing at all. while this happened to another bottle once before I thought that it was just a bad batch but to see that it is happening again with another bottle it looks like once its open you must use right away before it starts to spoil. Now that I have half a bottle that needs to be thrown out and wasted more money because I had to buy more detergent.

Loved this detergent until I realized that my white sheets were now off white. Cannot say whether it was the detergent or “extra” I put in, but I will still continue to use

I bought this as it was cheaper than regular tide. It smells amazing! Even if I don’t use fabric softener my clothes smell good. Even though it’s cheaper, it seems to still get the job done.

After using about 1/2 the bottle our washing machine stopped. Had to call the repair man. He thought I was using too much of the detergent and the suds caused the machine to think that the washer was full. Told me to only go to line 1. I hadn't even noticed the markings on the bottle cap and just now saw what markings to use.

The Tide simply clean all in one refreshing breeze is awful, my clothes smell funky during washing and after, I have to rinse twice eventhough I use the correct amount. I'm never trusting Tide again. I read reviews and many people were complaining about this issue and I was puzzled and decided to try it. I I regret my purchase and I don't recommend this product.

The product cleans well and smells great, however, I noticed AFTER I used the product that it did not have the he symbol. I didn't have any problems with my washing machine this time, but it is concerning that the website says you can use it on the he machines but the bottle doesn't have that stated anywhere. I don't feel comfortable using it in my machine. Why isn't it on the label?

There are five lines in the cap and nowhere on the bottle does it tell you what line to use for what size load. I shouldn’t have to look online for dosing instructions

This detergent smells awful. I washed my sheets in it and couldn’t breath all night. I don’t know if it’s an allergic reaction or what since I’ve never had this issue with other tide products. If you are sensitive to scents then stay clear, smells like my grandmother spilled her perfume in my bed. Really over powering and awful.

Tide is my tried and true laundry brand! I love it and think it does a great job fitting stains and odors. Never had any issues with it! This is my favorite version with the oxi clean because I think my close look just as good as when they were knew. We buy this in the biggest dispenser there is!!

I recently bought a small bottle of Tide Simply Refreshing Breeze because I needed an enzyme free detergent to clean wool blankets. It cleans ok but the smell is nauseating, almost like gasoline. The stench fades after the cloth dries but I would not buy this again. The Daybreak Fresh version smells better but small bottles of it are very hard to find. Tide must deliberately make Refreshing Breeze so repulsive in order to force consumers to buy huge bottles of Daybreak Fresh.

This product gave me a very strong hives. Unfortunately, I didnt identify in time that the soap was the problem.

We love the long lasting scent and the better price point. The only recommendation is that none of the bottle say HE on them so it left me really questioning if it was safe for my machine or not. It appears that it is safe after jumping on line.

I really like this laundry detergent it smells amazing and it is the cheaper option if you are going to go with Tide my clothes fresh and clean and the smell last for weeks this is my go-to for sure and a little goes a long way I wouldn't recommend trying it as I said it is the cheaper version

Every time I wash dark colors, especially black, it leaves soap residue all over. Tried using less soap, more water, everything, it doesn't seem to matter. My dark clothes are never "clean" after using this product. Thought I would try a name brand, will go back to off brands, better price and certainly cleaner clothes. I don't really know about the smell as I have sinus issues that impact my sense of smell

I like the way this smells. However I feel like it doesn’t do quite as good of a job at getting my clothes clean as other detergents I’ve tried. When I combine it with oxyclean however it does the trick.

I'm sorry but the Tide Simply Clean and Fresh (Refreshing Breeze) in its original formula was Great, but now that you've brought about the 2 and 1 formula, it is nasty. It doesn't clean any better and the smell is too overbearing. Please go back to the original formula, or at the very least, market both formulas giving us a real choice. I have issues with Skin irration when I change laundry soap. I definitely have stuck to this soap because it's clean and free and I love the smell as well as it comes in oxi too.

I love this for my pillow cases and sheets, it's not so over powering on the scent. Price isn't bad either.

This new scent is just absolutely horrible. its so overpowering and smells awful. why did you change the scent of the refreshing breeze? it was simply perfect as it was. and now it smells like every other laundry detergent out there. that was the only reason i used tide. now well ill have to find another brand and scent i like and it will not be Tide

I prefer this Tide over the one in the reddish bottle. Works great but costs less. The scent is good but not overwhelming.

I bought a 31 oz bottle and was very disappointed to see it was only half full. Many companies do this where their products appear larger. I won’t pay a company to be deceptive.

I have been using this detergent for years and it has always been fine. Lightly scented and an decent scent. But I just bought a new bottle and the scent has changed. It is absolutely horrible. Not only is the scent awful, but the smell is so overpowering that I need to rewash all my bedding. I am not sure what to do with an almost full bottle, but I can't use it.

I love tied products My clothes always come out clean smelling fresh and looking brighter and when I use generic or cheap laundry soaps you can find them in these cool jugs that are easy to spend so liquid solvent to your washer with hands-free button I would recommend that especially if you have family do laundry a lot keeps your clothing soft also.

Tide Simply OXI Liquid laundry soap works great for my family's everyday laundry. It's gentle enough for my son's sensitive skin while fighting stains and odors very well. I bought the small 31 oz. Bottle to try. You have 5 lines on the bottle cap but nowhere does it say what they mean on the bottle. Why not put directions for use on the bottle.

This detergent smells incredible and leaves a long-lasting scent after washing usually most detergents need an added freshener to keep the scent fresh but this particular brand is so Exquisite it does not need any extra boost and keeping is fresh clean scent

The "Daybreak Fresh" scent is terrible! It is so strong that it triggered a migraine-also made me sneeze like crazy until 4 AM. Had to rewash all of my clothes and sheets. I'm going to try a different brand an ensure it's unscented. Who needs the additional chemicals for a wretched scent.

Great detergent, I used to buy the regular Tide and then I got this by accident and I’ve been using it ever since. Can’t tell the difference between them.

I love tide brand . It works for my whole family for sensitive skin down to the scented choices and oxi. I personally use this particular one on my clothes & it smells so good. It’s not too strong to where it irritates my skin.

This is a very inexpensive product it cleans my clothes great!! I think the smell is a little strong but is a great laundry detergent

The only two detergents that I can use without a bad skin reaction are tide, and gain. Tide OXY I was concerned about, but let me tell you, same outcome, cleaner clothes!

I buy this simply tide all the time. I have 3 kids and my husband is a coal miner so our laundry is always very very dirty lol. This detergent is very very affordable for being tide and it works really well and smells great. I do switch detergent sometimes just for a change or if the store is out of this but I buy this kind most often.

I usually use original Tide or Persil but they are also expensive. I bought the simply clean (green label) and the price was significantly cheaper. I had a couple grease stains on my hoodie I pretreated and washed and was suprised how well this cleaned. The oil stains were gone. For around the same price as Xtra (you get a bit more Xtra), sun (more sun too) in regards to # of loads you can do, it completely blows them out of the water. Compared to regular tide my guess is it wont remove all stains but should tackle most. Again for the price range it is a very solid product and high tier in that range

I use to love the Refreshing Breeze scent when it was serial number 91273169. Now again, they’ve tampered with the scent like they did with Tide Original scent. Why must you all keep changing the scents that we are accustomed to and have smelled for years?!! I hope that you will bring back the real Tide Original Scent before it was changed, also the original Refreshing Breeze scent from serial #91273169. If it’s not broke, don’t fix it!!!

Not as great as the original Tide. Scent is not as strong and does not last long compared to original.

It used to have a nice light scent, but it seems they’ve changed it and I find it too overpowering now. Too bad because it is at a good price point, but I’ll have to stop using it now. It gives me a headache.

It’s one thing to have a great laundry detergent, and it’s another thing to have one that also helps to lift stains and get your clothes super clean. I love the tide simply Oxi liquid, and will continue to buy it.

This product is a little watery have to use extra to clean my clothes and then they still aren’t fresh! It’s disappointing

I am a fool when it comes to cleaning products and laundry tide has to be in my home I've noticed that since I've switched to using tide especially the brand with the simply oxy added into it my clothes look amazing the color looks more vibrant the material looks better the smell stays put on the clothes I purchased it usually in the 96 load containers because it has an easy spout where you can measure out as much fabric softener or as much liquid soap that you need instead of wasting it so that's always a plus too when it has the spout attached to the container pretty good price item you can usually find it on sale or a good coupon and your Sunday paper. Definitely recommend tide 100%

This simply clean and fresh tide is cheaper then regular tide and washes the clothes the same as the orange bottle! Go figure! Give it a try and see for yourself!

This is a nice detergent with a clean scent. I like that it has oxi added for a deeper clean. It’s got a nice scent but not overpowering. It cleans my clothes well and is more affordable than the other tide. We have sensitive skin and this has been alright for us. We used the original tide prior to switching to this.

This works well and washes clothes pretty good but the fragrance doesn’t seem to last long.

Ehh I don’t live the simply clean as much as the original but I’ve bought it and don’t hate it either. Tide cleans clothes and leaves your clothes refreshed and revived that’s why they are a great brand. But it’s not my favorite.

I have been using this product for some time with complete satisfaction, but the last jug I purchased has an overpowering fragrance - TOO STRONG. Please put the scent back to the original lighter version. If my next purchase is the same, I will have to find a new detergent. I like the price point on this Tide product, but cannot tolerate the new smell. Previously I would have recommended this product, but no longer.

I love original tide and when I bought this one I never went back. I like the fresh scent and it gets out the odors and makes your clothes clean and fresh. It actually very affordable compared to regular tide. I would definitely recommend it to others.

This is a lighter product than the regular tide but works very well in my front load machine for lighter fabrics and less soiled things. Affordable and usually available in most stores.

I like to use this on my niece's clothing because she breaks out with a lot of other detergents even other scent free detergents and there have been no problems with Tide simply clean. This laundry detergent isn't to hard on the wallet, and I am happy with the job it does cleaning the clothes.

I love Tide Simply and honestly prefer it over my old stand by of original Tide. It's economical but not cheap by any means.

This is pretty cheap. My brother who I live with loves the smell (I prefer the one with the berry scent) and I don't mind it. I would say cleans pretty fricken good for the price .. great find!

I have used other brands many times and had skins issue. Tide on the other hand never made me have any issues. It works well in my colors and white. I enjoy the love smell it has to offer. I do think they could go more natural with it and not add color to the pod but other than that it is perfect. I will keep using this product to can't anymore. FYI as a college student and money is tight you always can find a deal somewhere for this brand.

I love tide but this versions even better because it’s cheaper than the others! We use this on our toddlers play clothes and my husbands gym clothes. It leaves things fresh and clean

In general, I'm not particular about my cleaning products but when it comes to laundry, I always buy Tide. At some point in my life, I was trying to get red wine out of a shirt and soaking it in tide saved the day. Its been my pick every since.

Smells good and washes everything wonderfully. One of the few brands i can use that does not my skin break out. Would not change a thing about it. Been using this brand for years.
