I love these! They work so well to get stains out on the go. After a while the tip of them get dirty but I usually just throw them out when they're done and grab a new one.
I bought a few of these to have them in my purse and in my car so most times I always have one on me. It definitely helps but if you press too hard, sometimes the liquid will show a watermark when everything dries. I recommend reading the instructions so this can be avoided!
I have these in my car, purse, desk at work. These are a must-have product in my opinion. I bought one for my daughter to carry in her backpack and for her dorm room too. Small and compact, but gets the job done! Tide to Go Instant Stain Remover
Another travel staple. You just never know when you’re gonna need to clean a stain when you’re out and about. I try to always keep this pen on hand. It works so well and they last for a long time.
This stick is literally a lifesaver!! It has super strong capabilities! The most impressed with it is I had SHARPIE on my duvet cover and after rounds in the washer and dryer I decided to give it one last try with the tide to go stick - and it got the sharpie completely out! I love that the applicator end is firm enough to do some light scrubbing and really work a stain out! I would 100% recommend for others to buy - I really think it’s a necessity!
This is "my magic stick". I have a few in the laundry room for touch ups between wash cycles. I carry one in my purse, my car, my gym bag and keep a few in my desk at work. They are handy, they work wonders. Anyone with kids needs these! They have saved so many clothes!
Love Tide To Go Pens! A little stain after a Red Sox game left someone’s favorite shirt a little less than fresh! A few dabs of this pen did the trick! Great in a pinch to save a favorite clothing item! Not so good after clothing has already been washed without stain treating so keep one of these handy to take care of it immediately in a discreet way! Highly recommend one in your glove compartment and your purse. Maybe your kitchen if you’re all about the tomato sauce too! Just keep one everywhere!
This is a must have for my car, instantly remove spots on the go.It does the job and I love it.I always have one in my car
Love this! It is a mainstay in my purse, as well as many of my friends. It works and works well. I recommend it for everyone.
I always carry this with me. In inevitably end up with some stain on my clothing when I am out and this product has saved me the embarrassment of walking around in stained clothing all day.
My partner always stains his whites, and his darks. He had a Dickey’s jacket he needed cleansed for the night of an important dinner, and I was able to get the stain out with the one quick wash, without an extra rinse cycle!
I keep this little thing with me wherever I go! In my daily work bag, or in my clutch, it comes with me everywhere! It has been a life-saver so many times, and I always think to myself “do I need to bring this with me today?” And the answer is always YES! Because I would never want to be caught without it :) this small but mighty tool will fix your clothes in a pinch!
I don't know what the big hype is about this pen. Every single one I've ever gotten leaks. It's never really gotten any stains out and once or twice maybe even three times I've gotten it on a colored item and it didn't even take the color out of the colored clothes item. I'm a bit disappointed with this one.
I like these for a quick solution to stanza messes. I try to keep them with me on the go
It would be nice to have a jumbo size of this, like the size of a magnum 44 permanent marker. I am a chronic spill monster !! It's a fantastic product, especially when I'm at work
After ruining one sweatshirt by not treating the stain quick enough, I will never leave the house without my tide to go stain remover pen! It is so convenient and effective.
I absolutely love this product. I have carried one of these pens in my purse since it first came out. It works like a charm. I've even used it on a total stranger who had gotten something on his tie and had to speak in front of an audience and the spot was very noticeable. The Tide did the trick and he actually wanted to pay me something for saving his day! Thanks was all I needed. This is a no fail product. I love it!
This product works well by getting stains out of various items. I always carry one with me just in case.
Works really well on small stains! I carry this in my purse for on the go. It does have bleach in it so make sure you know what you’re putting bleach on! I wouldn’t use it for any stain bigger than a dime
I am so glad this was invented!! This on the go stain remover works great at getting stains out. I always bring one with me when traveling and when I’m out and about. Definitely recommend!
Easy, works great, amazing on the go! Highly recommend! So nice to just in on your purse for anything
Are you a maid of honor? Or a Parent? I suggest adding this to your emergency supply kit. This has saved countless outfits for my daughter and came in handy when I was maid of honor at my best friends wedding to get out a few.stains before showtime. Wine is not a friend before hand and this saved the day.
Fantastic product. Great for if you get a stain when your out or need to get something out that wouldn’t come out in the wash
the best stain remover! i have a couple of these for my purse, house, and on the go. it is very handy and works so well to remove any stains from wine to grease.
This is a must in the dance mom world . My son and his dance costumes and if a kid eats I think they like to wear there food no matter how old they are lol . It has gotten stains out . Tide to Go Instant Stain Remover Tide
I love to try products for stain remover this one works 75% of the times! I use it not o Lu in clothes but also in my furniture sometimes! I still buy it
Perfect to throw in your purse I LOVE tide products I highly recommend you keep this on you for a night out especially if you’re wearing white
Had a gnarly stain on my shirt from lunch and I just had bought these tide sticks and put them in my purse . Before you knew it , the stain was gone ! No residue left behind either , affordable and easy to keep in the car or on you wherever you may go ! Recommended to all
I love these and try to keep at least one around me at all times. These have been life savers when I needed them most
Tide to go has been a lifesaver! I keep one in my purse and have since high school. It removes most stains before they set and is small enough to be perfect for a purse to carry around! I highly recommend it
I love the instant stain removers. They're not super expensive and they do the job. I'm only giving it 4 stars though because I can pretty much go my entire life without needing this. It's not a must have but it's good if you actually need something like this on the go.
Works great, takes off those minor stains you get in your clothing. You can easily put it in your bag as well.
I literally use my Tide pen at least twice a week. I used it in my car today. The only thing I don’t like about the Tide pen is that it doesn’t smell like Tide. It works really well. I keep it in my car and in my purse for emergencies.
I love having a Tide To Go stain remover! It works so well and is so convenient to keep on hand.
A must have when wearing white! I spilled a dark drink all over a white dress once and used the pen to remove the spill. Worked instantly
While it is great at removing stains, it’s marketed as an “on the go” use whenever wherever product but I’d really only use it at home. Yes it gets out most stains, but there will also be a wet spot on your shirt for a couple hours. Still a great product and good to bring for travel
Great to keep in your purse just in case. It completely removed red sauce out of a white cotton shirt I was wearing.
Dance costumes! Omg that and vodka water. This has been my saving grace for lipstick stains and other various makeup stains.
I carry about 1 of these in every bag that I have. My purse, work bag, backpack for school. I think it is handy to have on me at all times. I’m a very messy person and a couple of dabs from this makes me feel like I have the initial stain under control. Highly recommended keeping one in your bag to ease your nerves when you are out and not close to stain remover
I feel pretty so-so about this product. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I have purchased multiple tide to go stain removers and I guess it just depends on the stain and material of clothing you wear on if it will remove the stain or not .
ingenius product, works so well. Always carry a few on me. no cons its awesome and i wouldnt improve. Id recommend to evwrypme. So@afforda ble!!! Perfect to throw im a bag to have just in case. Great product!
I keep a Tide stick in each of my hand bags, in my car, and at my desk at work. I love how convenient it is to use, especially because I tend to be a messy eater. GREAT PRODUCT!
This product is amazing my husband always stains his clothes and this little thing is a big helper, it easy to use and it removes the stains instantly I’m amazed at how good it is!!!
These are great and work to prevent stains.. I keep one in the car, purse, and travel bag. I definitely recommend this item. It’s affordable and found in discount stores. Tide to Go Instant Stain Remover
This is a great product and will get the job done but if you're looking for a Tide product that you will be hooked to, it's their Tide spray! The spray is for your home and is one of few sprays on the market that kill germs and don't just simply provide a fresh scent.
I literally have one of these tucked away in everything i have . It works amazing and great to have for those accidents
This is by far my favorite product to have in my purse! No matter what I spill on my clothes it saves me every-time! Simple rub until I can get home and toss into the wash with no worries of having a stain.
Super convenient for removing stains in a hurry. I keep one in my purse and my backpack in case of emergencies. Tide to Go Instant Stain Remover
I was really disappointed with this pen. I had high hopes for it, being that it’s Tide. It’ll work for small stains from coffee or similar, but for wine, jam etc, it still leaves a spot. I will need to do a deap stain removal process, using my oxiClean stick and spray and scrub it with my knuckles. Please Tide, make this formula better!
Best product ever for on the go especially at work if you tend to spill your coffee like i do lol. Also great to put in a carry on for a trip so you don’t permanently stain any clothes
I keep this in my purse and it is an absolute lifesaver. It works really well one time I had a white shirt on and I had spilled something on it and I used this and a little bit of water with a napkin and it came right out!
Great portable on the go pen style stain remover to have handy in your purse or pocket when you know you’re going to have a messy meal. The pen works best in the laundry room combined with your other pre-treaters (soap flakes, vinegar, baking soda etc) to pre lift the stain before you apply tide pen…but it IS a helpful useful product.
I always have 4 or 5 of these on hand. I have one in my purse, car, & at work. These work wonders.
I like the convenience of this product. An on-the-go stain remover when cannot access soap or water. I always keep it my purse for emergency. The downside of this product is it's not perfect. It works on small splatters but not all the stains I've tried it on worked such as ketchup or coffee.
A must have to keep in your purse! I did notice the tip used to be felt like a marker and now it’s plastic. So it’s a little weird to just be rubbing the plastic tip into the stain. I do wish they were refillable
I can’t tell you how many days this have saved. And it smells like tide! Doesn’t leave a weird ring around the stain, as if you spot treated it. But it does remove the stain.
Works but I wish the pen was more efficient in terms of releasing liquid but it does remove stains
As someone who wears a lot of white, I always carry this with me everywhere I go. I love how small it is and easy to use. It gets the stain out and I know I can trust it
I used to use these all of the time because of cheerleading. They are helpful to get little stains out but you want to act quick cause if not it leaves a little yellow stain until you wash it out. It takes a couple tries before you learn how to use it correctly
I’ve always bought these as a just in case thing to put in my diaper bag , my daughter makes messes often & this is one of the best quick on the go stain removers!
Very convenient stain remover to keep in your purse at all times! This has came in handy for me many times and works very well
Ohh we all know a mothers life kid getting stains off her mini and herself, great for in the go moms. I love it so much there’s one in my purse, my car, and my desk lol. So far it gets every stain I have come across on a shirt out ! Worth every penny !
I absolutely love Tide to Go Instant Stain Remover! Everyone and anyone needs to stop what they’re doing and go get these asap. They’re the greatest thing since sliced bread! I have literally dropped sauce on myself right before a big event I was going to but I just stopped, pulled out my Tide to Go Instant Stain Remover, rubbed the stain, and poof, it was gone like magic! If you don’t have a Tide to Go Instant Stain Remover go get one today, it will change your life.
Miracle worker! I carry a tide stick with me at ALL TIMES. The tide stick gets out stains when you are on the go. Easy to use and barely takes up any space in your bag. I definitely recommend this product!
This didn’t really work that well for me. I used to keep one in my purse because I’m messy but just seems kind of like a waste of money. I’d say it maybe helped a little bit, but a stain is a stain… so
I used this when I got a drop of ketchup on my white shirt. The area that was treated is no longer white and I could not recover the damage.
I bought a shirt off of Patagonia and the next day as luck would have it i spilled food on the front of my shirt. Went for the tide to go stick that was in my bag, took it home, washed it. The Tide stick ended up bleaching the color out of the stain. Sure it got rid of the stain but it also wrecked a perfectly good, somewhat expensive shirt.
A must have! I would have no clothing without stains if it wasn’t for these little gems! I keep one in my purse, one in my car and one at my desk at work. They make great stocking stuffers!!!
I love these things. I have one in every single bag I own and in all rooms in the house. They once took red wine out of a brand new pair of light colored jeans. The only thing I have to say is hat you need to treat the stain immediately when it happens. I do wish there was more product inside the pens though. Sometimes I could use an entire pen on one stain and I have to push pretty hard.
I swear they put some kind of magic in these. It’s amazing how they can take any stain out of any fabric, blood, wine, grass, doesn’t matter, takes them all out. Seriously perfect to keep in your purse or car or wherever you get stains so that you can treat them right away.
This product has worked well for me in the past, but when I used it on my favourite dark grey shirt it left two massive spots (that are not stains, it appears the tide pen has removed the dye abs left fade marks on the shirt. Genuinely ruined my favourite shirt and even though it has worked on other items if the past I will never be using this product again because of this. Do not risk ruining a favourite garment
Can we not stop and take a second to applaud tide for these handy Togo stain pens ? Well thought out product. Must have for moms on the go!
as a mother of three, these come in hand! I can safely wear a white t-shirt knowing that I have my tide to go pen in my handbag! they are very affordable and very inexpensive! I would recommend these to any mother or anyone as a matter of fact. My husband likes to have one in his car to clean off his baseball hats!
I good product with many reasons to use it. It is good to have one around at all times just in case a garment gets stained. A good value because 1 pen/stick can remove multiple stains.
they’re not amazing, but they definitely help. I have to take them everywhere I go just in case.
This little pen works really, really well. Having this little pen handy, I never have to worry about a food stain standing out at meetings or when I meet colleagues at functions.
While eating beet salad I unfortunately spilled some of it on my white uniform. Fortunately Tide to go was in my truck. Works like a charm
I can’t rate something that I can’t use, your review system is flawed!!!! Spent $6.77 Canadian and could not use the product as it was missing the top piece, my guess is that this missed the quality standard testing.
Please don’t buy this. It’ll ruin your shirt. I just recently got a new white hoodie and used this to go remove a small stain on my makeup foundation. Left a huge yellow stain on the area.
The product states it works on spaghetti sauce. However, within 12 hours of the stain occuring, I attempted to remove it and absolutely nothing happened. A waste of $6
I now have a "new" yellow stain on my white cotton blouse where the "old" tomato-based stain used to be. The bleach in the Tide stick reacted unfavourably with the fabric.
The pen did not remove stain from shirt and caused permanent white discolouration, ruining my shirt. DO NOT RECOMMEND
I am extremely unhappy with the Tide to Go stick - it didn't work. I still have the stain on my shirt, very visible, and for the rest of my day today. The product actually smells terrible too!
I’m on a student budget& I had a few little stains to get out on my white shirt, so I thought I’d buy this $5 stick to get them out. Well it ran out after 3 uses & I wish I could get my money back.
I dropped a lot of coffee on my white shirt and bought a Tide to Go. It saved me; definitely works!
I bought it and have tried it on a few things like chocolate coffee juice and it hasn’t removed any of the stains
Used as directed on light blue cotton expensive pants and it completely bleached them!? Package didn't warn about it fading the pants.NEVER would have used it had there been this warning. DO NOT BUY
Does not work at all. Tried on multiple different things and the stain is still there
I just opened a new pen and it was dry thus it was useless. Very disappointing. I believe that there is less liquid recently than when pens first came out.
All this did was give my expensive clothing stains that wont come out. DO NOT BUY
I used this on a pair of coloured jeans and it ended up staining them this white cloudy colour....not happy.
Used this product on a tiny chocolate stain. The product removed the chocolate but where the product wet the shirt it turned yellow. Still there despite laundering as soon as I noticed it.
It works and we have not had incidents where it ruins the clothing. BUT it smells AWFUL. The smell is pungent especially if you're in meetings or around people.
would not recommend this product to anyone, it stained my shorts even more than the stain that was previously on them
Left early in the morning for a special day, had to stop for coffee....coffee was spilled on white and black dress.....instead of returning home for a change, went to the nearest store to pick up a tide to go......the clerk just looked and said COFFEE..Oh no...to which I answered...Tide to go hasn't let me down yet...and I was right....my husband was completely surprised that the there was no evidence of coffee on the dress...Best product ever!
I bought a pack of 2 Tide to go mini and after using one of the sticks only once, it seemed there was nothing else in the tube. What a waste of money! I had used one of my mom's Tide sticks once and liked the convenience of it so I bought my own and was quite disappointed.
I bought a tide pen the year before we moved to our current residence of five years this summer. I put a white dust ruffle on my husband.s bed yesterday to try to hide the obvious working parts of a hospital bed. He has very thin skin that tears easily. He opened a spot on his arm getting into bed and sure enough after tending his wound there on my beautiful new dust ruffle were three dark red drops. I used kleenex to blot them and went in search of the tide pen I had used a few times the first month I had it then it was mislaid when we moved. It turned up after a twenty minute search and the only part that still retained it,s colour was the cap and I could still make out the bold blue name Tide but anything like instructions that were printed in white were no longer legible. I decided I had nothing to lose and gave it a go. The little nib popped up and down with ease. I know I,m way long with this comment but I was truly amazed. After five years of being kicked around enough to wear off the label it worked and the blood was completely gone after sitting exposed to the air while I ransacked every drawer I could think of. My next trip to a store will have me getting three more of them for my purse, the car and one each for the pockets on his walker and wheelchair. I,m 66 and Tide was the only laundry soap my Mom ever used, she was very frugal and used it to wash our dishes too Her hands would never be used in a dish liquid commercial but our dishes squeaked after they were rinsed under the hot water tap. Good old tide made an appearance from under the kitchen sink every day of my childhood. .Thanks for the memories.
I dyed my friends hair black and blue when she stayed at my house.Anyways after it was finished i realized i got blue dye all over my favourite band shirt i was heart broken. So i went to walmart and bought a tide stick it took 2 or 3 trys and the dye was all gone.I did use the whole stick but i was really happy with the result.Amazing product would recommend to everyone.
I LOVE this little stain removing pen. This has saved me many times. I have always kept one in my purse. My only complaint is the design of the container; the lid keeps coming off and the liquid sometimes gets on other things and dries out. I now keep it in a snack baggy but I would love if the lid was a twist on :) "
Horrible product and customer service. My Tide pen stained my shirt with a big red circle. Tide Customer Service would not reimburse me because they want the pen back. Why would I have kept a staining pen around my house? I threw out right after it stained my expensive shirt! I've read other reviews now about this problem. If only I had read them before. Hopefully my review saves someone else's shirt and they read this in time! I won't be buying any tide products from now on due to the customer service.
heard so much about the product but I seemed to have a "defective" one....purchase 2 pkg mini ...one worked one didn't???...dried up? nothing coming out....I had emailed a couple of weeks ago...no reply? I included the UPC code at the time.
I recently bought myself a Vancouver Whitecaps jersey ! After a few rough and tough games with my son I developed a nasty black stain on the chest of the jersey from the ball . I tried many times to apply other detergents and even took the jersey into the dry-cleaner without any success. A friend suggested try the "tide pen" after applying the pen and using tide detergent the stain was removed !!!!! THANK YOU FOR BRINGING BACK THE WHITEOUT!
I wore a brand new paid of white linnen pants to work today. I spilled the juice from frozen blueberries all over my left leg from the knee down. I kept applying Tide to Go on the stain and within an hour, it was completely gone!!! Everyone in my office can't believe it. Thanks!!
I used the to go pen today and as soon as I removed the cap and started using it I could smell it... almost like parmesan cheese. The dress I was using it on had a tiny little stain on it that did seem to be coming out. I tried dabbing the dress with plain water to get the smell out but it didn't work. Even perfume didn't help. Finally threw it in the laundry and the pen in the garbage.
I use Tide to Go on a fairly regular basis. I find that If used as soon as I spill, it will remove stains quickly. However, I'm not a big fan of the smell. I find it smells like chemicals. Also, I agree that the cap should be a twist on, to prevent the cap from popping off in purses. Otherwise, very convenient!
Greatly dissapointed!!!!! Tried to clean food stain, mud stain, and ink stain. None of them was gone / erased from Tide to go. It is a waste of money, please do not buy this product unless the company tried to improve this Tide " to go"..........
I love this little stain removing stick. Has saved me many times. I have always kept one in my makeup bag. Unfortunately my only complaint is not in the product itself but in the design of the container; the lid keeps coming off and then the liquid sometimes gets on other things and dries out. I could keep it in a snack baggy but I think you should make the lid a twist on :)
I have had great success using this tide pen stain remover. I've used it for ink stains, shoe polish, juice stains and more.... Unfortunately, it does smell like puke...but the smell goes away after washing the clothes. It's better then perm stained ruined clothes... Keep it clean :)
Didn't work on pollen stains, didn't work on coffee stains, didn't work on juice stains. The stains were larger and only slightly less noticeable after using Tide to go. The only thing it removed was about $6.50 from my wallet. Hand soap and water works much better.
Used now a couple times and hasn't once worked to remove any fresh stain.
I dropped a French fry covered in gravy and ketchup on myself at lunch today. It landed on my white capris in three spots. I immediately used tide-to-go and it didn't work. I am thoroughly disappointed.
Thank You Tide to Go! I am travelling on business, and was ironing in my hotel room last night. When I got to my favorite purple shirt, custom tailored I might add, I was greeted with two light blue blotches, dead center. I pulled out my Tide to Go stick, which I had not touched in at least 2 or 3 years. I hit the stains with a heavy dose, then rinsed the area, and hung to dry. This morning, I have perfect purple, no stains. Now I can buy a new Tide to Go stick instead of an expensive new shirt. Thank You!!!
Purchased a Kenneth Cole winter white feather-down winter coat which was marked down due to a fairly large pink lipstick stain on the back. Tide to Go Instant Stain Remover worked wonders. Stain is now gone. Thank you for this great product. I now have a perfectly good new winter coat at a fraction of the price to keep me warm this winter.
Was shocked it worked on blue sharpie! Although pkg said may not work for ink I decided to try it anyway. It removed 90% of a blue sharpie stain on my sons new winter hat. I'm glad I tried it because it made a huge difference, not perfect, but much better with just a dot left instead of the whole smudge.
I use it all the time especially on Mustard and Chipotle sauce stains. It works every time! Thanks
Ruined my pants :( replaced old stain with tide to go stain
Use it on a spaghetti stain (which listed on the packaging as something this pen removes), and it didn't work a single bit. I got better results from rinsing the stain in hot water than using this pen. Do not buy!
Ruined my favourite pair of pants. Did not even remove the stain, simply removed the colouring of my pants then left the original stain. I arrived at work looking like I can't do my own laundry. Awful product, would not recommend it to anyone.
Please do not use this. It turned my very small stain into a larger more noticeable stain. The stain was just a spot of dirt which would have easily came out in the wash but I thought I would try this. The stain it left DID NOT come out in the wash. Ruined a $100 dollar sweater, thanks Tide.
I like Tide to go, but use it very rarely because it smells like kiddie puke. I read through some other posts here and found others that thought the same thing. The response by P&G about shelf life of a year doesn't really mean much. I've even had that smell come from a brand new one out of the package. It's so gross!
A waste of money. I tried it many times. Never cleaned my shirt when I spilled coffee on it! when shall this product work then
Removed the dye on my jeans - would not use this product again.
I used this product to remove a small stain on a pair of light yellow Zara jeans. It did remove the stain, but it also removed the colour from my jeans. I am now left with a large white circle on me pants which are now ruined.
I had a simple grease stain on my brand new expensive knitted shirt after dinner. I thought the "Tide To GO" product should be the ideal solution to remove the stain and re-claim my shirt back before laundry. The result was disastrous, not only that the stain was not removed but the color of the area surrounding the stain was faded. The shirt has been practically destroyed.
I found the same problem ,when pulling cap off the the entire contents spill out . The little I soaked up with the shirt that had the stain the stain did not come out. Can,t say the product impressed.
I am truly blown away by this product. Foundation has ruined so many pieces of my clothing and NOTHING would work to get it out, I got liquid foundation on my WHITE blazer right before my sisters bridal shower and a friend of my suggested I use Tide To Go, I was already under the impression I would have to buy a brand new one and before I knew it, it disappeared right before my eyes I literally could not believe it! I have tried every google remedy to get foundation off of my clothes tide to go has now saved me a ton of money! I tell every woman to carry one in their purses it truly is a life saver!
I have seen this product advertised for sometime now. I am opening a Bridal Boutique and have purchased some Sample dresses that had some make up stains, one someone spilled something on a beautiful gown and so I thought I would chance using this product on getting these small marks off of them and I can not say nothing bad about this product!! Thank you!
While Tide to Go did get rid of most of the coffee, mustard and ketchup satin on some of the shirts on which I used the product, it mostly ruined the shirts by somehow "opening" up the fabric. At the outer limits of where the Tide to Go pen is applied, the 65 % polyester / 35 % cotton fabric has become transparent due to the threads separating to a point where the vertical straight lines are now crooked. Next time I'll wait and use good old soap and water...
I tried this remover on puck marks on our hockey jerseys, but it didn't work. Took out alot of other stains though. Do you have a product that will remove the black rubber marks from ice hockey pucks that accumulate on the jerseys?
I recently purchased a tide to go mini to remove a small blood stain while on holiday. It was a fresh stain, but I couldn't believe how quickly it ran out and failed to take out any of the blood stain. I did a little search afterwards and one link noted that tide to go does not work well on blood stains. This was not mentioned anywhere on the packaging when I purchased it. Not all customers have access to the web to look this up when shopping. I was not pleased with the lack of info and how fast the product ran out. Will not purchase this again or recommend it to others.
e first time I used the tide stick it was to take mustard of of a canuck shirt at an NHL playoff game and it worked great since then I've used it for various stains. But we just tried to open a new stick the cap was very tight and the end came off before the lid and spilled the entire stick wasn't very happy.
Couldn't open this. Used my teeth in frustration, and it spilled all over. I still don't know how people get it open without pulling off the whole top.
On a cruise last winter, my luggage remained in Toronto. Having only my travelling clothes to wear, wouldn't you know it, I dropped a spot of sauce (from dinner) onto my shirt. Luckily I had picked up a tube of Tide to go as an emergency. I always carry a tube with me when travelling. PS the luggage caught up with me eight (8) days later.
This is the 2nd time that I have bought a tide to go stick that has opened up entirely while I try to remove the lid and spilled all over me!!! The first time I was lucky and the outfit I was wearing was OK. This time I was not so lucky. I would have performed a "test" patch given the opportunity--but almost all of the contents of the stick spilled all over my favorite linen skirt and ruined it!!! This is the last time I buy this product!!!!
Yesterday I wore my white linen jacket to work and during lunch I managed to spill spaghetti sauce on the right side of the jacket. Fortunately, one of my co-workers had a Tide To Go in her desk drawer and after three applications the bright orange stain was no longer visible. I will be recommending that my daughters always carry one in their purse or have one available at their place of work. Thank you Tide to Go.,
I was on my way to work, wearing white capris, and I took a bite of a strawberry, which then dripped down onto my lap! I didn't have enough time to go home and change, and I tried to blot the stain out at work, which only made it bigger. Luckily, I remembered I had my Tide pen with me, and even though it was quite old, it still worked. In 20 minutes, there was no trace of the stain at all!
Unfortunately the marketing of the Tide to Go instant stain remover pen got me - so when I got a tiny dirty stain on my Brand New Trukfit hat, I washed away the mud and there was a small stain - I thought "Hey, Tide to go!" I thought wrong. Now there is a fist sized bleach stain on my perfect in every other way Brand new hat. I do not recommend nor will I ever use this product again. Big. Fat. Fail.
I spilled some mango juice on a good quality and somewhat valuable white T shirt...immediately I tried to remove the stain with cold water but it remained. Later in the day at the Walmart checkout I notice the Tide togo...about $4 tx included...bought it took it home, tried it as directed...stain still there after 2 trys ...Fortunately I still had part of a bar of Ban-it, that I bought years ago...instantly gone...wish I'd thought of it first. Maybe it only works on P&G generated stains...
Hi my name is Janet and my daughter got married last weekend at a winery in Victoria . IN limo on way she dropped lipstick on her lace dress 13 women screamed at driver to stop at grocery store-- we rushed in and bought tide to go . it saved the dress and the day and we have the pictures to prove it thanks -- what a gift that three dollar buy was and what a story all had to tell panic moment ended
I used this on a top of mine...it took the stain out instantly and I was thrilled until several minutes later when it started to leave a large yellow stain where I had used the Tide to go. I have washed the shirt twice and the large yellowish stain remains...I am NOT IMPRESSED at all. I have thrown out this product and will NEVER buy it again.
Love the product, however the cap keeps popping off in my purse! Would be appreciated if you could change your design to a screw top rather than a pop top cap. Thanks!
Iused it on a $ 150.00 pair of dress pants that I had worn twice. When it dryed it left abrasions on the spots as if something course had been rubbed over them or a chemical had attacked them.
I have been using tide to go for quite some time now and I find it to be very handy when you need a quick fix for a stain. I keep one in my purse at all times and have extra ones at home. It does dry up if not used. I would recommend it to anyone.
bought the minis and they seemed to be dried up...very little liquid came out when pressed into stain..not enough to remove stain. I have used many regular :tide to go" and loved them, but sometimes it leaves a white mark
I was having a blueberry shake and got the littlest stain on my jean vest. I used tide to go and the stain is now gone but it left a white spot where I rubbed and also a big yellow circle around it. I should of waited until I got home to use the real stuff.
I always loved this product until today. I have had the stick for over a year and the exterior is getting worn. As I used the stick to remove a stain (successfully) the stick got wet and the orange coloring on the exterior of the product dripped orange dye on my white shirt and stained it in numerous places worse then the original stain! Tide - please consider a redesign!
I am a mom and a model I have a tide pen in every purse and bag I own. however The tide pen has ruined many of my expensive purses due to the fact the lid does NOT stay on!. I have had to resort to putting all my pens in ziplock bags. please please please fix your lids otherwise I will be forced to not purchase this product anymore I hate plastic ziplock baggys in my purse! This product does the trick but the problem with the lid is enough to call it quites with me. Thank you
Hello, If anyone at Tide is reading this post; would you please fix the above issue concerning the lid of this product. We consumers, for the most part like your product, your company, and it'd be much appreciated if this problem was solved. Thank you , Andras
Just purchased this product from our company convenience store for a whopping $5. Had a coffee stain on my dress shirt that had to be removed before my sales meeting. All I have now is an extended circle stain from the actual liquid in the tide to go. This product didnt get the 4 drops of coffee out of my shirt in fact it made it much worse. I willl never use this product ever again and I am going to throw it out as I write this. DO NOT USE ON EXPENSIVE DRESS SHIRTS!
I love Tide to Go - I have it in my purse, my school bag, my kitchen, and my husband keeps one in his desk at work. My ONLY complaint is that the lids will not stay on when being tossed around in a bag, and I end up with Tide to Go all over my papers.
This product is great! I accidentally cut me finger slightly and didn't realize it until I saw a few small spots of blood drying onto my nice new baby blue dress. A co-worker let me use her Tide-To-Go stick and it completely removed the stains in seconds! I was very happily surprised! I have now purchased my own Tide-To-Go stick. My only negative comment is that the lid doesn't stay on well enough and the smell of the liquid is unpleasant. The smell is worth bearing rather than going a whole day with a nasty stain that may not ever come out if not dealt with quickly...like blood!
The first time I tried the Tide To Go stick, I thought it was great. So I went and bought a three-pack. One for my purse, one for the diaper bag, etc. But last week, I broke one out for a small stain on my shirt. I can't remember what the stain was, but it took it right out. Then I spent the next half hour trying to figure out what smelled so bad. I thought one of my children or cats had thrown up somewhere. I finally realized it was coming from my shirt! It smelled very strongly of vomit. I had to change my shirt and wash my skin underneath to get the smell out. I went back and smelled the Tide stick, and sure enough, it smelled horrible. I figured I'd forgotten to clean the tip properly after the last time I used it. So I chucked it out and broke out the last one from the three-pack. This one had never been used before. I smelled it, just to see, and this one stunk too! Do the sticks go bad after a certain time? I see your "spring cleaning" article recommends checking the expiration date on your Tide to go stick, but I don't see a date on mine.
I bought the Tide to Go Pen and during the second use the small applicator tip fell out of the pen. I tried to squeeze it back in but it just kept falling out. I took it back to the store where I purchased it and because I didn't have the bill they would not return it. But it was great the first time I used it!!!!!
I like tide to go a lot, but i just had a spill and i cleaned the stained and followed the instructions of the package. But could you gys change the smell of the liquid, i am in a meeting right now and i smell like bleach. Could you guys make an odorless or a more enjoyable smell?
I have purchased Tide to go 3 times now. Although the effectiveness of the product is great, the caps keep falling off and either causing the tip to break or dry up and be of no use. This is really disappointing so I've stopped purchasing them. I encourage Tide to creat a cap that is harder to remove so costumers can stop wasting money. When you do, I'd love to get credit for these 3 in way of a coupon to buy the new product. Thank you for considering my concern. Louise
I used this on a ketchup mark on a white cotton sweater and ended up with a yellowish mark on the lapel of the sweater. I then had to find a dye marker to try to remove the yellow and restore the white. It is still not 100% but it is wearable. Am throwing this out.
I love this product I take it everywhere I go. The only thing is that I wish they would make refills. I find that it does dry out over time even if you haven't used it. When you you need it, its great!!!
I bought a new tide-to-go have always loved the product. But this time I used it on a new white shirt and I ended up with a big yellow stain, I washed that shirt and the stain did not come out. So I am unshure to keep using this product or should I buy a new pen?? Or will it damage my cloths again?
