When you’re having a beer with your buddies, accidents happen and you end up with a pint down your shirt. Not only did you waste good beer, but you also got beer stains all over your clothes. Find out how Tide can help remove beer stains, so the only thing you should worry about is spilled beer.
On-the-Go Tip:
Wet a cloth with warm water and blot the stain. If available, use
Tide to Go Instant Stain Remover.
- Remove the excess residue from the stain.
- Press the tip of the Tide to Go Instant Stain Remover onto the stain several times to release some of the stain remover solution.
- Rub the tip gently across the stain to remove it. If necessary, add more liquid and continue to rub gently.
- Important: If the treated area is exposed to direct sunlight, then wipe with a damp cloth or a napkin to remove excess solution.
Removing Beer Stains:
Remove Excess:
Rinse in cold water to dilute the stain.

Pre-treat:
Using a bucket, a sink or a bowl, create a soak solution by adding 28 grams or 1 ½ tablespoons Tide HE Turbo Clean Liquid per 4 litres of cold water. Allow the garment to soak for up to 30 minutes, weighting the item with a white towel to keep it totally submerged.

Dose:
You can also use the cap to ensure you use the right amount of detergent. Just fill it with the correct dose of detergent, and pour it into the detergent dispenser if you have an HE machine, or directly into the drum before loading the clothes if you have a non-HE machine.

Load:
Without rinsing off the detergent, place the garment into the washer with other items. Leaving the detergent on the stain will give your wash that extra boost of cleaning power.

Wash:
Wash on the usual cycle, on the hottest wash temperature indicated. Always check the instructions on the garment’s care label.

Unload:
When the cycle is complete, unload the garments immediately.

If the stain persists after washing, repeat the previous steps before tossing in the dryer, as drying will set the stain.
